The Official Orre Colloseum Thread

This thread is where you can go to to get advice and helpful strategies to beat the final colloseum.

I will contribute a strategy to beat Snattle in the second round.

His pokemon are glaile, regirock/ice, muk, electrode, and gengar. They are the abused strategy of protect and explosion. He will start off with electrode to cause a first turn explosion. The other opponent will use protect or attack if it is the gengar. I suggest you have a rock or steel type that has a solid hp and can attack fairly decently. Metagross is a good choice. I beat him easily but for movesets I gathered this.

Muk-Protect, Explosion,Imprison (No sludge Bomb)
Gengar-Shadow Ball
Regice-Protect
Electrode-Explosion

Meganium moves: Attract Protect Toxic Leech Seed Female
Blissy: Counter Female
Wobbuffet: Counter Female
Milotic: Confuse Ray Toxic Attract Wrap Female
Misdrevus: Torment Confuse Ray Attract Male
Shuckle: Rest Attract Male
Boy is she a pain in the butt my pokemon except for Latias are male Safeguard + Latias= Annoying
Psychic + Espeon= Almost Immortal
Haryama + Brick Break= Devistating

Are all opponants you face at level 60? Or are they higher if you enter with higher level pokemon? If the former is true, it would be a no-brainer to train your pokemon to high levels and steamroller over them, like the other stadiums.

Pity that you don't gain experience there.

Safeguard renders her a joke. Not that I have XD (Stupid Australia...) but one FAQ over at GameFAQs mentioned it. Have something to deal with Wobbuffet too.

Get safeguard, make sure all your pokemon are at least lvl 60 and make sure they are at the same level!

I havent got xd yet but this should work. safeguard is your friend.

I defeated Loverina and Snattle, that's it.

Loverina: Wobbuffet uses Mirror Coat and Counter, so it wont work if you didn't attack him. She sent out Wobbuffet with Milotic or something like that, I kept on attacking Milotic and ignored Wobbuffet. After you defeat all the pokemons you're only left with Wobbuffet, use a powerful move (I used Thunderbolt, there was only half HP left, then I used Hydro Pump, bye bye Wobbuffet)

Snattle: Protect/Explosion, so you don't have to worry about the Regis, they'll just explode. I used Mawile with Protect, try using that.

Hunter Segon (Loverina round): Uses moves that cause pokemon to sleep, Jynx is the most annoying one.

Hunter Waval (Loverina round): All of his Pokemon have the ability Own Tempo, he uses moves that confuse the pokemon.

Fun old man Honcha (Snattle round): One hit KO moves.

Gorigan (Didn't beat him, I just looked at his Pokemon): He uses Pokemon that have the ability Intimidate.

Lovrina was pretty easy for me.
Her meganium was annoying as *you dont wanna know*. Houndoom and dusclops were great wobbuffet counters as houndoom is special and immune to mirror coat and dusclops knows shadow ball and is immune to counter.
Her blissey went down to a reversal, meganium to a few flamethrowers.

If you face wobbuffet, dont bother attacking him until u have taken down the other pokemons in her team.

I just beat Eldes, W00t!
latias went down to a selfdestruct from muk, my walrein avoided the slefdestruct with protect. My hariyama did nothing but took 2 attacks before fainting. snorlax went down to an icebeam after the selfdestruct. He had sent out metagross and, tauros was his last pokemon.
The tauros(who is a cber) earthquaked his teammate, dealing over about 70% damage lol, while doing almost half hp on my dusclops. then tauros earthquaked meta again, causing him to faint. my dusclops survived with a few hp left and my walrein with a bit over half hp. the tauros took a helping handed water pulse. The next turn, he went down to a helping handed ice beam. yippie i beat Eldes after a few days of hard work.

Safeguard Latias would help
