I've played my friends Pikmin 1 and it was great. A bit hard 'cause you only have 30 days.

I've never actually experienced the wonders of Pikmin.

I'm trying to catch up with a lot of Gamecube wonders I've missed but am finding the game rather difficult to track down.

And Charizard Champion#06, I think he just about made it a sufficient enough thread, what with the poll and the questions and all. As for Pikmin 3, nothing official but Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of Pikmin as well as numerous other things) did hint slightly at a Pikmin for the Wii. Check out "Every Single Wii Game" for further details.

Well if there is a Pikmin 3 coming out for the WII, I bet it will be a ton easier to play. You could have the analog stick to control your leader and the remote to point where you want to throw your pikmin. FUN FUN FUN!

I've played the first Pikmin game. I thought it was okay, but like Charizard Champion#06, I didn't like how you only had 30 days. I was at the level where you find the blue Pikmin, and I had to keep resetting because I couldn't find the part to the ship and start picking the blue Pikmin by the end of the day.. I haven't played it since. XD; I might try the second one, though. I like the 2-player/partner idea better. :)

The first Pikmin game you have to get all 30 ship parts in 30 days.
In Pikmin 2, you'll be trying to get 10,000 Pokos to pay off the debt.
How fast can you get 10,000 Pokos.
One time it took me 17 in-game days to beat it.
There is no limit of days on Pikmin 2.

when i first got pikmin for christmas, i hated it, but my sister went on it as we were bored of mario kart DD. I was astounded by the graphics and got hooked. but when i herd of pikmin 2, i orded that for the next christmas and loved it. i love the purples the best.

1. they're fat
2. they can move the dumbell object that weighs 1000 in the final level.
3. they have hair

Well, I love Pikimin 1, but am not so keen on the second one (strange, I know), but I think that it is kind of over complicated with only been ablt to get Purple and White Pikimon through flowers. It would have been good if they had their own onions. I also think that those endless dingeon things in the second one were kind of annoying. It seemed like they were never going to end, and if you did not go the whole way down, you had to doe very floor again. that just annoyed me.

But, I think that the games themselves are great and loads of fun. I remember reading somewhere (sorry, can't remember where so I can't give you a link or quote) Shigeru Miyamoto saying something like Pikmin would be perfect for the next nintendo console (Wii). Maybe that was the indication.

It'll probably be for Wii.

Bulbmin count as pikmin because they are paresitic pikmin (probably green since that's the aura that surrounds their leaf when idle). They are immune to everything but being crushed (I don't even believe they get eaten).

If Nintendo don't take advantage of the Wii-mote for a Pikmin 3 then they are more abysmally foolish than even I could predict.

I love Pikmin 2, consider it my all time favourite game. Especially the bulbmin. They rock.
