...No.
No, that's not how it works at all. They get "free advertising" for people downloading the game and then spreading the word of "hey, this is kinda neat". No part of the development or release plan involves requiring people to be so impatient to gain a handful of 3D models that they'll fiddle with their system clock.
Which slide? And how to get actual mode? Also, I'm not seemiong to get any spotpass pokes, but I NEVER mess with my date, unless I need to turn on/off DST. Why is this?
That's not an official screenshot.
It's from Pokédex 3D.
You honestly think they don't want sites like Serebii to burn through the game and show features to reach readers that their marketing has failed to contact? Of course they do.
I bet Serebii is eager for more Pokémon to be released so he can take a picture with Celebi.
Seems like this thread has been renamed to include an image gallery. On a related note, erebii, are you going to make a thread for Pokédex pics?
This does seem to work well. However, there seems to be something that may prevent it from working. Perhaps something deep in the photo metadata. Anything I edited in Adobe Fireworks would not show up. The manual did mention that manipulating images on a computer may cause it to not show in the album. However, images I edited in Microsoft Office Picture Manager worked fine. I think that as long as nothing shows under the "Program name" field in the images Properties, then it should show up on the 3DS. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be absolute. I have two images with nothing in the "Program name" field that would not show up in the album. These two images were downloaded elsewhere from the Internet (doubt that's the reason though). For one of those images, I made three versions and only two showed up (these two were resized in Microsoft Office Picture Manager).Tip: If you have a digital camera, put the SD card from the 3Ds into it and take photos from that for better quality photos. I haven't tried this, but I'm pretty sure it won't mess up the folders in the SD card in anyway. Then you can just use the background feature to place the Pokemon in.
