I absolutely love this show and have been recording it since it first came on. My favorite character is Ryuhou and my least favorite is Sherrice...I can't stand her...GRR, but anyway...

So, how would you rate this show? To me, it's like a mix of a Gundam Series and Ghost In The Shell.

It's alright. I've seen all 7 (or has it only been 6?) episodes so far, and Asuka is a pretty cool character too. Ryuho is my favorite as well, but I wish he'd get over that, "I don't care about the past!" attitude.

I've seen 2 eps and thought it was a cool show, I think I saw the first one and I don't know which one the other one was, my favorite character is uhh, I know who it is but I don't know what his name is. And Ryuhou is my 2nd fav

Forgot to say, I rate the series a 6.5/10 right now. But in my grading scale, 5 is average, what most people would consider a 6.5 or 7. So my 6.5 is anyone else's 7.5 or 8.

I love s-CRY-ed. (I spell it weird, yes, I know) My favorite Character is Kazuma (Sorry if I spelled that wrong). I don't really like Ryuhou.....maybe as time goes on I'll like him better. But I also like Cougar. He always makes me laugh. ^_^

I love this show as well. Serialceral if you're confused here's a small summary so far:

- In this world humans and animals naturally develop a burst of energy called "Alters" which is used as a tool and weapon.

- Any person or animal can be an "Alter User". The island/organization called HOLY houses and captures alter users for "their own and others safety". Their slowly becoming corrupt.

- Ryohou founded this organization after an alter user killed his mother and attacked his home town when he was young.

- Mimori is Ryohou's close childhood friend before the attack. Though now she is seen as "the past" and she is given a harsh cold shoulder from Ryohou (just wrong).

-Kazuma is the one with strong fist. He is an alter user from outside HOLY "native alter" their called he wants to really mess up Ryohou after being captured by him. But he is not the villian, he's the rival, he want to prove he's better than Ryohou with fighting because he says "He's just like me" .

Hope this clears this up.

S-cry-ed is a pretty good anime definitley one of the best on saturdays. I would give it a 8.5/10

I got the box set and I love it. PInky the mew, kazumas alter is caller shell bullet, not strong fist. And ryohou didnt make holy. My favourite character is cougar, he rocks. It's so funny how he always tries to chat up Mimori, but then she gets distracted and walks away. Lol. Its a great series, though there are quiet a few sad bits in it, I give it 10/10.

The series seems really good so far, a bit confusing... Is the abilities have something to do with machines? It seems that the majority have alter powers that resolve around a machine... (The animal last episode had so far the most organic looking one so far)...

The opening, and the opening theme "Reckless Fire" are very good by the way...

Whats cool is how there are five different versions of recless fire, they play in order then repeat.

Mmmm, or around that. I was having a marathon and watchin em all, and as I was reading the words they where different. Its like how the opening animation changes as well.

That is the wrong anime, you're talking about FLCL (Fooly Cooly).

Well I didn't know what else to call it anyhow. And as for Ryohou, I thought he did have something to do with the creation of HOLY.

I think the people who are more "down to earth" have organic Alters. I think the ending sequence has different versions too!

Well, is the title of the show, s-CRY-ed? Since the name of the show you're talking about isn't s-CRY-ed, then no, It's not s-CRY-ed.

No, Alter Powers don't have to be mechanical. Remember the girl who could turn things into water with her hair? It's just random things.

The main reason that this anime is so great is because of it's good character development, something that some animes lack. Every character has a personality that you know the moment you meet them.

Yes, thats exactly right. Ryohou and Kazuma have the best personalities, and it gets alot deeper as the show goes on. I love Kanamis alter, though it is confusing. And she is really hot in the last episode where she older.

-No they don't there is an alterier motive but capturing them for safety is the cover up. They have always been corrupt pay a little more attention to detail

-No Ryohou did not find the organization if he did dont you think he would be running it and not be taking orders for missions from somebody else? No the guy thats always at the desk with the brown mullet he is the first known alter and he found HOLY

Ryohou and Kazuma's alters have three stages

BTW Asuka has the coolest alter
