The One Word Story Game v3 (Rule Update 3/30/2020)

Reviving my old legendary game.

How to play: Post one (1) word to continue the story.

Rules:

1. SppF rules apply.
   
2. Post only one word. Before doing so, copy and paste the above word/sentence/paragraph and then put the word of your choice.
   
3. Proper English grammar should be observed.
4. Names can be added for more wackiness, but if it's a user of the forums, make sure you're not being insulting towards them.
   
5. You can use punctuation if necessary. If you would like to end a sentence, put a period next to the word of your choice. If you would like to put a comma, you could put it after the word of your choice, or after the word the above user chose.
   
6. In case of ninja occurence, wait until the ninja'd post is edited. If the ninja'd post is not edited after 2 minutes, quote the post above it and continue from there.
7. You can change the latest word's tense or any kind of state to fit it with your word of choice.
   
8. Once you post your word, you cannot post again until at least two (2) other users have posted after you.
9. Do not post anything about poop.
   
10. Enjoy the game!

I've kept the new rules set by CyberBlaziken since they are essential in keeping this thread appropriate and user-friendly.

I will also occasionally end the ongoing story when it becomes long enough and post it here in the OP for those who want to read it. I or someone else will start the next chapter thereafter.
