Attention! I won't have access to a computer from 7/3 to 7/9, so the Paragon League won't have a moderator for the next week.
Leaders, you'll be in charge of rewarding badges. When I get back, I'll add all of those badges to each challenger's record.
Challengers, since I can't update which gym is open and which is closed, assume every gym is challengeable. However, Leaders may deny a challenge. Just so ya know.

- No hacks. None. Hackers will be banned.
If you suspect that a hack is being used, please finish the battle, choose to save the video, upload it to Nintendo, and in your PM to me include the video #. - Please obey all SPPF Rules and follow standard rules when battling.
- Gen V games only, for wifi badges.
- Pokémon Online battles will not count towards wifi badges, and vice versa.
- Single Battles only.
- All open battles are at lvl 100

This rule is experimental, and will be removed August 7. - Flat battles get you a gray badge.

On Challenging:
- All Challengers need to sign up with their Usernames, In-Game Names, and Friend Codes. If they want, they can put this banner in their signature:

- When a challenger wins a gym match, the leader should post the results in this thread.
- Leaders must accept a legitimate challenge, but have the right to deny a battle if the challenger currently has a position, is ineligible to challenge, or specifies the battle as a practice/friendly challenge.
- Any leader may challenge another leader.
A leader who challenges another does not have to use their gm team. - You must wait at least 1 day (24 hours) after challenging a gym before you can rechallenge.
However, this rule does not prevent you from challenging a different gym.

On Badges:
- I'll keep a record of each challenger's earned badges. Challengers can put them in their signatures if they want.
- Anyone with a badge that they didn't earn gets a warning and has to remove the badge. Repeat offenders go on the blacklist.
- I give you your badge after a win. Not the Gym Leaders. Please remember that

The only exception would be when I'm absent for long periods of time, in which case, the leaders should definitely be the ones awarding badges. - If you and the leader both agree that the outcome should be different, due to counter-teaming, a critical miss at the end of a match, or something else, then we will award/not award based on your decision.
If you don't agree, then just record the battle, post the video number for me to review, and i'll decide the outcome.

On the E4:
- To challenge the E4, you must beat 8 leaders in either flat or open. E4 members may be challenged in any order.
- When battling the E4, you may only do so in the method you beat the Gym Leaders.
In other words, if you collect only 8 gray badges, then you may only fight the E4 in flat. Similarly, if you collect only 8 colored badges, then you can only fight hem in open. - If you beat an E4 member in both flat and open, you become eligible for an E4 position (see below).
- Gym Leaders may not be part of the Elite 4, and vice versa.
Leaders must resign before they can hold a different position.

On the Champion:
- When battling the Champion, you may only do so in the method you beat the E4.
In other words, if you beat all of the E4 on Flat, then you may only fight the Champion in flat, and likewise for open.
But wait, there's more!
Leader, E4, and Champion rules, as well as how to become one of them:
To become a leader:
- Join the League
- PM me with the following information:
- Name
- In-Game Name
- Forum nickname, if you have one (like paxromana -> pax)
- FC
- Type
- Gym name
- Whether or not you have a badge prepared
- Which types of battling you can do (flat/open)
- Your team for flat (species only)
- Your team for open (species only)
- Anything you think should/shouldn't be banned
- Wait for confirmation
- Gym leaders may only use one legendary in their team.
- Gym leaders may change their team whenever they like.
- If you receive 3 warnings while a Gym Leader, you will lose your gym.
However, I highly doubt anyone in the League would get that many warnings.
- To be eligible:
- Acquire 8 Badges, or 7 if you're a leader.
- If there is no spot available:
You must beat a E4 member in both flat AND open to acquire their spot. - You must be able to do both flat AND open battles. Two different teams are encouraged, but not necessary.
- You must PM me a request with the following:
- Name
- In-Game Name
- Forum nickname, if you have one (like paxromana -> pax)
- FC
- Favored Type (must have at least 1 pkmn of that type)
- Which types of battling you can do (flat/open) ***You'll have to have both***
- Your team for flat (species, item, and ability)
- Your team for open (species, item, and ability)
- Anything you think should/shouldn't be banned
- Wait for confirmation
- You may not change your team, unless you SPECIFICALLY ASK ME IN DETAIL with how you want to change it, including items. I will then post that you've changed teams, and you may use your altered team.
- If you lose to a person in both flat and open, you are at risk of losing your position. However, if you're good enough (battle me to show me), I may keep you and deny the challenger a position..

Obey the E4 Rules, as described above.
If you become Champion, you automatically forfeit your position as Gym leader of E4 member. If ousted from your newfound throne, you will have to apply again to become a leader.
When battling the Champion, you may only do so in the method you beat the E4. In other words, if you beat all of the E4 on Flat, then you may only fight the Champion in flat, with the opposite true for open.

Obey the E4 Rules, as described above.
- You must have beaten all 8 Gym Leaders and all 4 E4 members in both open and flat.
This means that you cannot apply while holding a position, since you cannot defeat yourself. - You must challenge and beat the current Champion in both open and flat. If the Champion challenges you, then that battle doesn't count towards this requirement.
- You must request to be Champion, in a PM to me styled like one to join the E4.
When battling the Champion, you may only do so in the method you beat the E4. In other words, if you beat all of the E4 on Flat, then you may only fight the Champion in flat, with the opposite true for open.
