City of the Damned
Note:
The starting location has been changed. Instead of freely starting anywhere in Saffron City, every character starts off at the local Umbreon Moonlight Café, a restaurant on the west side of town. Every character involved in the RP starts as a customer during the dinner time hours. Also, put your current location in Saffron City on the top of each of your posts so everyone else knows where you are.
If you become infected, your next post needs to include your transformation. The chance of infection outdoors is 10%. If you’re inside, it gets cut down to 5%. That’s all for now.

Umbreon Moonlight Café
Thankfully, my eight hour shift was over. I had been doing nothing the entire afternoon but patrolling 25th street back and forward, smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee. Lunch had been nothing but a tuna roll, so I was happy to finally get a decent meal for once. Still, I kept my black leather jacket on despite it was already warm by the booth where I was sitting. Last thing I wanted to do was reveal my badge and pistol to everyone around me. I always tried to avoid doing it unless I really had to. Otherwise… people just give you the weirdest stares… especially the kids. And there was nothing I hated more than drawing needless attention to myself.
Cushioned chair, plenty of leg room, I was happy to finally get a load off my feet. Now that my shift was over, I could finally relax and just take a breath of fresh air. Regardless, I was far from content about the whole thing, not like I usually am after a long day’s work. The entire lockdown of Saffron City was not settling very well with me, even though I told myself time and time again to not let it bother me so much. I knew the lockdown was for the better considering the hell that was happening outside that I had seen on TV and read in the paper, but I knew people were getting restless, and it was only going to make my job harder. But I guess being safe from the hybrids was worth it after what I had been hearing. Now… I just needed to make sure the citizens of Saffron were safe… from themselves…
I had been glancing over the long menu when suddenly I heard a distinct blasting sound coming from outside. For a moment my heart stopped and I threw down the menu on the wooden table in a surge of alarm and anxiety. I knew what that sound was and I had heard it many times before. Gunfire. Already an elderly couple right next to my booth were beginning to freak out, and I knew it wasn’t just me getting hallucinations.
I quickly glanced out the window and saw another flash of fire in the distance down the block with another blast echoing throughout the streets. I couldn’t see who had been firing in the dark, but I wasn’t about to hold back and just watch. I swiftly stepped out of the booth, slipped past a waitress who had just been standing there, baffled at the whole thing, and headed for the front door, my hand already reaching for my firearm. I quickly threw the glass door open, and stepped into the dark streets, pulling out my pistol…
