A Dragon/Poison Legendary?

Thats the thing from Jurassic Park lol. It doesn't scream legendary to me.

And who says a legendary has to be a positive thing? Why can't a Poison legendary be infamous? Its so powerful, destructive, evil and dark, that it terrifies mankind hundreds or thousands of years later.

yes because a pink fetus, three pixies, a dancing girl, a clone of a fetus, and a hedgehog that looks like a bouquet of flowers all scream legendary. Pokemon can make anything look awesome.

Poison/ Dragon is the obvious choice. Levitate for the ability. A komodo dragon but a burly version would be neat. Like a poison type salamence lookin thing. Could have one of those legend's exclusive moves too, like sacred fire is Ho-oh's only, but instead something like Plague. 100 damage, 100 accuracy, and badly poisons foe 30% of the time. It be a special attacker for sure.

Personally, I just think they haven't gotten around to making one yet. It'd be cool if they did though; I like poison types.

Haha, that thing freak the crap out of me as a kid. Yeah, Jurassic Park is an awesome movie. I agree with you that a Poison legendary would be better off being a dark destructive force. Many legends are that way like Mewtwo and Darkrai.

Heres an Idea. We all know how in Black and White, Opelucid city is in the Past in White, and the Future in Black? Along with Black City and White Forest? Well, what if something similar occured for the next gen? (I dont mean to be speculating, but I cant explain it in any other way really...)

Legendary Counterparts. There could be a Swamp in one version and the legendary could be a mythical Swamp Monster Pokemon lurking in a pool of tar. Probably Poison/Dark

And in the same place in the other version could be an abandon nuclear research lab that had a meltdown leaving radioactive material oozing around everywhere and a Radiation affected Mutant Pokemon could be in a testing chamber of some sort. Most likely Poison/Steel

Idk, just another idea from the depths of my brain.

That would work, considering similar things have happened before in Gold and Silver, and Ruby and Sapphire.

A lot of Poison types, especially pure ones, get a lot of crap from people. GF might not have made one just because they might lost popularity.

Of course, that's probably just crap. They probably just haven't gotten around to it.

I'd say that the Poison-type should have a Legendary Pokémon it would make them more useful. (Seeing that most Poison-types are weak or Dual types.)
The Poison-type is my favorite-type, by the way.

You know, I had a similar idea-- Acid Rain damaging to all non-poison pokemon while powering up poison moves like rain-- for a new poison move.

Why not a whale coated in oil? with gun

Also, unless they make that all species of Ant-Pokemon game, I doubt the games would lose popularity for a little toxin love.

I'm liking the idea of a huge serpent like a basilisk (Harry Potter like) or them serpents looking like they came from Snakes on a Plane or Anoconda. Great base attack with good bulk on both defences and make it have a new Poison dual type. Maybe Poison/Water if it's an anoconda.

I always thought Rayquaza had that 'reptile' look and could have got away with being a Dragon/Poison.

...That's a really cool idea. It might be hard to make that into a cover legendary with a big, interesting legend behind them, but it could easily be on the same level as Heatran as an interesting sidequest...

I never said they had to be Cover Legends. There's a few non-cover counterpart Legends.

Heck yea, that thing creeped me out too, yet I though it was cool.

Giratina & Mewtwo come off as somewhat evil, but they stay in their respective hiding holes far from humans. Even Darkrai isn't that evil, just misunderstood. So having an almost mindless tool of destruction would be a nice change of pace.
