This is a club to discuss the new generation of Pokémon; Generation V (games, anime, TCG, manga and anything else that applies)!

I picked Oshawott in White, and Tepig in Black. Since my brother has Black as well, he started with Snivy, and we bred our starters for each other.

What did you feel when you saw the new Pokemon?

I thought most of them looked really cool. But some of them had stupid names, like Lillipup.

So anyways I am constructing an all Unova Fite type team including Heatmor, Victini, Darmanitan, Reshiram, Emboar, and Volcarona. I'm really close to finishing. Just gotta level up Heatmor, Victini, and Darmanitan a little more.

Gen V is my second favorite gen, next to Hoenn. I honestly like just about all of the pokemon, with exceptions... Stunfisk, the Vanillite line, Emboar, and Conkeldurr just piss the hell out of me...
Which Generation V Games Do You Have? White. I wish I'd gotten black, as Reshiram>Zekrom and Whimsicott>Lilligant imo.
Which Starter Pokémon Did You Pick In BW? Oshawott. I didn't really see anything great about the starters in this gen, but I usually pick the water type

I really like them. I usually don't find much bad points in this. I like all the new Pokémon basically.

Oshawott. I think it looks so cool and very cute. Samurott is a close second though.

Tepig. I thought Emboar had the best stats, since I prefer offensive pokemon. I also like Serperior, but I want to wait until it is released on the DW before I add one to my team.
What Is Your Favorite Generation V Pokémon?
Hydreigon and Volcarona. I love them both, and I can't really pick. They are just pure awesomeness. Chandelure is a close third.
What did you feel when you saw the new Pokémon?
I wasn't a fan of Samurott at first, but I liked all of the others as soon as I saw them.

I would LOVE RSE remakes. Emerald was my favorite games of all time. I honestly don't care about the wiis much, and the 3ds is something I probably will never have. PMD is fun but its kind of repetitive, I love it all the same though. I should try a ranger game, never tried one.

I really want a Colosseum/XD sequel for the Wii U. I don't have a 3DS and I'm still not entirely sold on the idea, but I know it would improve the graphics of any R/S remake, so I would be happy with a 3DS R/S remake.

Yes, i just beat the 6th gym and I've only got three team members at the moment! Its quite easy especially when you're using a boldore. After I complete the game i will start shiny hunting in white! But my trek for just now is to get to the 7th gym town!

I basically like it because of the new pokemon and graphics.

For me, I beat White on March 11, 2011, got my team to LV 100 on April 5, 2011 and now I'm working on the National Dex, although I haven't played the game too much because completing the Pokédex seems a bit boring now. I've seen 632 and caught around 570.

Snivy, yo. Best out of the three, in my opinion. My second choice would have been Oshawott.

What Is Your Favorite Generation V Pokémon?

That's so hard to answer... I love loads of them, but for now I'll say Bisharp. Pretty cool Pokemon if you ask me.

What did you feel when you saw the new Pokémon?

Honestly, at first I thought most of them were ugly. Like, really. Some were okay, but for the most part I didn't find them appealing at all. But then...something happened. I warmed up to the new Pokemon considerably, and before I knew it, I'd grown fond of almost all of them (with some few exceptions). It was hard to choose which Pokemon I'd use for my main roster. D:

What games do you hope they make in Generation V for the 3DS, Wii & Wii U?

To be honest, I'm not really sure right now. Maybe a cross hybrid of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon Battle Revolution. Wasn't there a rumor once that they were making a console game like that? That'd be pretty wicked. Also, I expect the 3rd installment of the RPG (Gray ver.) to be released in the near future, possibly for 3DS (although I hope for a DS compatible version as well).

Oh and by the way, make sure to expect some cool userbars from me soon; I love making those, and I want to improve my userbar-making skills.

Honestly, I dont hope for any of those. I just want regular DS games, as I cant afford a 3DS, or a Wii, or a Wii U.

But that doesn't stop the others from wanting to join! So I say sure; have tournaments any time in the future! I suggest we wait until more members join and this becomes a regularly active club. I think it'd be more interesting during that time.
