hi, as all pokemon lovers know...the video game pokemon battle system is VERY different from the Anime pokemon battle system...if you don't know what the difference is...i'll tell you. the difference between the battle system is the video game battle system is turn-based...like how its your turn to attack..then my turn depending on speed, however, the anime battle system is non-turn based, it is to see how fast the trainer reacts and is not turn-based, so if your reacting is slow, you will get attacked badly... and the thing i'd like to know is: which one will you prefer? i personally think that the non-turn based is better...so go ahead and vote!

I prefer non-turn based, this way you would have more control, but the turn based is fine with me too.

meh im undecided but lean more towards turn based...turn based has a lot more strategy but non-turn based would be a nice experience...it could work in theory too...attacks with higher accuracy fill up more of the screen, size can come into play etc...just an idea...of course this will never happen...

Leaving SPPF! G'bye!
I prefer turn-based, because there you have time to think of what to do. And you can leave it on if you have to do something else and dont want to turn off. Indeed the turn-based battling is one of the things that makes me liking the pkmn games.

Hmm, tricky one... I actually thought about how a non-turn-based battle system could be integrated in the game (one way to waste your time ^^), based on a boxing match. Well I lean toward real-time, although the turn-basted system (the strategy aspect in particular) is one of the factors that made pokémon so popular.

Still voted non-turn-based (wohow, that's close, 8-7 in votes (including mine)...). It's quite a cool concept, and is worth at least a try (maybe in one game or so).
