May I join? I loved the original G/S, and I can't wait for HG/SS!! I'm gonna get soul silver. I plan to start with Chikorita, but other than that I only have a few other pkmn picked out.
Do you like all the new features in HGSS?
Most, but not all of them. There are some things I really wish they hadn't changed, and some things I wish they had. I wish they hadn't replaced Kris with Katone, and I wish they had removed the shiny gyarados and given team rocket a little more story in Kanto.
Will you be choosing the boy character or the girl character and what will you name him/her?
Since I'm a guy, I will be choosing the boy character. I'll more than likely name him Sora.
Are you/did you import HG/SS from Japan?
Nah, Importing is WAAAAAAY too expensive, and not being able to read any of the dialogue really takes alot away from a game for me.
Do you think HGSS will make Pokemon the number 1 best franchise?
HG/SS are going to be awesome, but I doubt it'll do anything like that... Is there a number 1 best franchise anyway?
Anything you would have changed/added to the re-makes?
Like I've already said, I would get rid of the shiny gyarados, and make team rocket do more in Kanto. Besides that, I would have had Kris instead of Katone, and maybe left the pokeradar.

I was really young for Gold and Silver, so of course things will be different now.

There are only two or three pokemon I'm sure I'm using, but I can't wait to have my shiny espeon or tyranitar follow me. I'de also like to have celebi or a shiny shaymin to follow me depending on if i can sr for the shaymin.

I like them! They're alot better than DPPT.

I don't know the reason behind comparing her to Super Mario, but I understant comparing her to Kris. Kris was the first ever female character on a pkmn game, and arguably one of the most cool of all characters. She set the bar really high, so she has alot to live up to.

I prefer the Poketch, since with Pokegear you get spammy phone calls for like every 5 minutes.

Poketch, it has more useful stuff. The phone gets annoying. The Poketch has useless but can be fun stuff but it doesn't harm anyone, right? The breeding app is useful for the breeders, there's a berry growing map for the berry growersa(like me sometimes), there's a clock(you don't know how useful I find that) and other stuff.
