The Pokemon Questions Thread Again!

Ultra sun and moon had a bit more challenge to them than most Pokémon games (not a high bar, right) one of the more enjoyable along with Arceus Post XY. It sort of depends on your expectation, I play Pokémon generally for vibes, not difficulty. Colosseum for GameCube is up there as well if you didn’t play that one back in the day.

If Pokémon+difficult is non-negotiable, fan-made stuff has covered that niche also? Don’t know if it’s against the rules to talk about those.

I would like to try fan made games but I only own an iPhone, PS5, and the Switch that can’t be docked.
I really want to try Pokemon Fusions. That looks like fun.

I have heard about Pokemon Fusion, and it looks pretty cool to me. I mean, I would honestly just want to fuse Dragonite and Salamance into some eldritch abomination of a dragon/flying type.

I remember thinking Insurgence had a good storyline/difficulty curve, that one needs windows to play I think. Pokerogue I’ve heard good things about and it’s browser only, works for iPhone (or any other phone/computer)

But to simplify that my understanding is that you need to move a Pokémon into Pokémon home for every single species that was originally obtained in scarlet and violet (e.g if the Pokemon was caught in sword and traded then it wouldn't count). But you don't need to have them all in home at the same time. For example if you transfer over a Lechonk into home move it back into violet, evolve it and then transfer it back to home then it would count for both but not if you just transfer over a Oinkologne. I haven't done the Meloetta gift yet but I did do both the Let's go and the Legends Arceus ones and that's how those worked.

Yes that's correct. You can go to the games section where it will break down to each individual Pokedex.

Probably just bad luck and also a lot less people are trading it now then they used to. You might have more luck via the GTS on the home app. There's often a few up on there, and technically even if you find one not from the right region you might be able to trade that one for one that is and you can now specify alolan form and able to be transferred to certain games. You may end up getting one from Pokemon go but you might get lucky like I did and get one from Scarlet and Violet and if not you could put it up for trade again and hopefully eventually one of the times it'll be from the right game. It's also worth checking the raids in BB academy. Alolan Golem is one of the trickier ones as it can't be evolved in legends arceus and isn't wandering around the terrium

I need help figuring out the Union Circle BBQ quests on Violet for the Scarlet and other Group Quest Exclusives. What's the best route of doing so? Like there are codes out there for trading certain Pokemon, but are there also codes for BBQ quests via Union Circle I can use?

Anyone know how to fix Pokémon Home randomly shuffling your Pokémon? Like when I deposit Pokémon, save, and then come back later the Pokémon will be shuffled randomly rather than just be where I left them. Is Home just bugged or something? Pokémon Bank worked great and kept the Pokémon exactly where I left them, but Home doesn't
