The Pokemon Trivia Challenge! (let the game begin!)

A brown haired man in a suit strolled down the hallways of the Pokemon Channel studio, smiling at all the hustle and bustle in the studio. Ash was in hair and makeup, Ruby, the announcer, was studying her prize copy, Misty was in wardrobe, and Brock was discussing the day's physical challenges with the stagehands. but none of this concerned the young producer...right now he was mor interested in taking care of the contestants. He pushed open the doorway leading into the contestant waiting area, where four kids were milling about. "You guys are the contestants in today's show, right?" he asked. Affirmative nods met his gaze. "All right..." and he handed each of the kids a shirt depicting Victory Road with "The Pokemon Trivia Challenge" written on it in bold yellow letters. "Team Blastoise has the blue shirts, and Team Charizard the red. Hurry and put them on, taping will begin shortly." With that, he departed the room...

Travis nodded to the man and quickly put the shirt on over his own shirt. He then sat back down, then stood up and began pacing around the room.

After tending to the contestants, the producer headed back down the hallway and came to the dressing rooms. In one, Ruby, a girl around 18, was throwing on a sparkly red jeacket to compliment the wite shirt and black pants she already had on.

Just then, she saw the producer in the doorway. "What can I do for you, sir?" she asked.

"It's almost time to start taping." the producer replied, only pausing to let Brock, now clad in a zebra stripe referee's uniform, to pass by. "The audience is already coming in--why don't you take your place and keep them entertained while we make some last minute preparations."

"Will do, sir." Ruby replied to the producer as he disappeared down the hall...

 

[Moonlight Locust]

Drak put on the shirt after nodding to the man.
"I can't wait for this to get started!"Drak said in exitement.
He stood up and walked around the room exited.
"I hope it starts soon!"Drak said.

When the producer returned a few moments later, the kids were all dressed and ready to play. "Okay...if you'll come with me, let's head out onto the set."

The studio audience cheered as the producer led the teams over to two podiums, one blue and the other red, facing a smaller podium, where Ash stood. Nearby Ash's podium was a small screen, which depicted the question to the audience and the viewers at home. The arena where physical challenges played out was off in the distance, but at the moment, no one was allowed back there...

Travis gulped as he stood behind a podium with the other boy in a blue shirt. He quickly shook his head as if to clear it, and stared at Ash. He reminded himself to get his autograph later. Travis then began to look around at the audience, and seriously hoped that he and his partner were ready for this.

Alex had just about managed to ready the shirt when the producer placed him and his partner on their podium. His partner was a roughly 12-year old boy with blue jeans that matched the blue Blastoise-team shirt that he had taken over a green shirt. He was appearntly just as nervous as Alex was right then.

Wow it's Ash!Drak thought as he looked up at Ash.He noticed the other boy in his team and hoped that they'd be a good team.
"Can we please start Ash?"Drak asked without thinking.

"Okay, everyone ready? the director asked. The crew nodded as they rushed into position. "Okay, 'Trivia Challenge' episode 2084, take 1...we're on in three, two, one."

Eight badges, two teams, and so many fantastic prizes! Ruby proclaimed from the announcer box as the show's theme song started to play, making the crowd cheer. But only one team will have the knowledge necessary to brave Victory Road and earn the Champion's Ribbon! At this, a spotlight came up at a pedestal at the top of Victory Road, where a red, blue, and yellow ribbon lay. Which one will it be? Find out as we take...The Pokemon Trivia Challenge! The crowd cheered even more as the spotlight shifted to a red and blue curtain.

And now, here's the star of the Challenge...Ash Ketchum! The crowd roared as the curtain rose to reveal Ash, who waved to the crowd and the teams as he jogged to his podium...
