I have pokerus. It isn't really all its cracked up to be, just like having a Macho Brace and Lucky Egg on at the same time.
It's very infectious too, I often accidently spread it to pokemon who aren't ready for it yet. It wears off to quickly as well.

And it only works on games with an inbuilt clock, not FR/LG.

As soon as WiFi trading is opened up, pokerus will probably infect you all.

i have pokerus on my emerald (gotten it quite early: before my third badge) but i must say i was just lucky (you may also note that pokerus does not spread in FR/LG)

I have Pokérus. Contrary to what some have said, it doesn't have any effect on EXP. All it does is double the EVs you receive per battle; just like the Macho Brace, only without the speed loss. I find it extremely useful, since it cuts the time taken to effort train in half. (You'll really learn to love it when you have to effort train without it after already having it. I got sooh tired of effort training a Pokérusless Swampert. Not to act spoiled or anything... >.<)

Also, the effects of Pokérus remain on a Pokémon that had Pokérus. ("black spot" status) It just doesn't spread anymore.

Don't know how or when, but yes I have gottin pokerus. I infected almost all my pokemon with it, and didn't even relize it. I was baffled that Nurse Joy knew about it and that there was a black dot by my pokemon the next day. Looks like the immune system did its job.

I don't have the pokerus...

But my friend was sooo lucky and got it on her sapphire version. Once, she traded me a sableye and a swampert and i noticed a black dot by their names. Back then, i didn't know what it meant. Then one day, i was playing her game and was flipping through her pc. There, she had like twenty pokemon with the pokerus! By then, i had learned about the pokerus and knew what it was.

I'm so jelous of her now... though she hasn't played sapphire for like a year so she might not have it anymore...

yes, the probability is like you find a pokemon shine (1 in 98765) you need a super luck to find a wild pokemon with pokerus, you must captured it or athack with your pokemon (maybe your pokemon be infected)

I got Pokerus in Petalburg Woods in one of my old Sapphires. it infected my Treecko then steadily the rest... I thought it was a bad thing. Lol. I just saw it on the status and went ''what the...'' then the nurse at a pokemon centre said it was good...

To bad I didnt know about EV's back then...
