Okay he father is is nowhere to be found in Kanto, and the mom thinks the dad is dead. But Conrad thinks his father is alive somewhere. Hope that explains it.

Speechbubbles are almost perfect. All they need is all that non-white stuff to be erased.
I don't really like recolored (or spliced) Heroes. Even if it's VERY well recolored, I still don't like them.
Try not to turn this into a regular 'journey' also, try to make some bumps and turns. Most good journey comics are set in the same region (Kanto, Johto or Hoenn) but they have MANY different side-quests added to them.
The title of your comic is VERY, VERY, VERY sappy. I don't know, it just seems weird that a whole comic is about a child looking for his dad.
I'll keep a look out, to see if it improves any.

...Okay, this just plain sucked. I'll tell you why.

1. The characters are too flat.

2. How the heck did the scene change so fast from panels 1-3?

3. Since when did speech bubbles extend outside of the panels?

4. What kind of title is "The Quest to Find Dad"? Sounds like a comic from a kindergartner at first sight.

5. Ever heard of commas?

6. You didn't even abbreviate your own comic right. If I recall correctly, "Quest" is a word that isn't omitted from abbreviations, so it'd be TQFD.

That's all I can think of.
