Chapter II: The First Test
In the darkness of the Castle Catacombs, your Erebus is training with Elder Magic. Summoner Tartarus gives him 4 spells to test with. Tartarus places the Elder Magic spell book in Erebus’s hands
Tartarus: Erebus you will perform the Spells on certain targets, I shall grade you on each successful blow. Now remember the basics, Let the Dark Energy follow throw you then say the spell out loud! Some of these targets are stationary others are moving Targets.
Erebus: Yes Summoner..
Tartarus: First use the Flux Spell! Your first target a Target.
A red target appears in the darkness!
Erebus: Flux!!!
Darkness engulfs the target. Nothing stood in its place, but a Vulnerary.
Tartarus: Excellent Rating!!
Erebus: Thank you Summoner!
Tartarus: Next Target. A Silver Shield. Use the Stone Spell to turn the Silver into stone then use Flux!
Erebus: Stone!!
The Silver Shield turn into hard rock.
Erebus: Flux!!
The Stone Shield was engulf by darkness. Rubble remain.
Tartarus: Superior Rating!! 2 Books left. Now for the Nosferatu! This spell will be most helpful to you in journey hence!! Remember it sucks the health and adds on to yours. Your target yours truly!
Erebus: But Sir, I can’t!
Tartarus: If you want to become a Shaman you must!!
Erebus: Yes Sir! Nosferatu!!
Tartarus’s strength was sap from him. He fell to his knees, but instead of a Grim face he was smiling.
Tartarus: Good Job! One More Erebus!! The Shadowshot Spell! Almost like the Anima Spell Bolting, but much stronger! Your target, 12 Moving Dummies. The Shadowshot spell can work from 1- 10 Adjacent spaces away! Alright Erebus, proceed.
Erebus: Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!!
Erebus hit’s 3 of the 12 targets.
Tartarus: 9 more to go!
Erebus: Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!! Shadowshot!!
The dark lighting bolts hit 7 more targets.
Erebus: SHADOWSHOT!! SHADOWSHOT!!
Erebus hit’s the final two targets!!
Tartarus: Congratulations Erebus, You pass your first test!!
Erebus: Another step until I became a Shaman!!
Elsewhere Selene is being tested in a Chapel. Archbishop Nyx teachers her the Art of Staves. She also splash in a few Divine Book spells too. Nyx gives Selene 3 Staves and 2 Divine Magic Spells.
Nyx: Alright Selene, its time for the test of Staves and Divine Magic! First Staves! Lets use the Heal Staff. Look at the poor horse its was bitten by a horrid Mauthe Doog. Will you heal it?
Selene: Alright! I’ll try! Heal!!
Selene places the Heal Staff over the horse’s wound. A Blue light shined from the staff. The wound disappears.
Nyx: Great Job Princess Selene. Now lets use the Warp Staff! Teleport me to the Entrance of the Chapel and back. Ready go!!
Selene: Warp!!
The Warp Staff shined a Purple color in a Flash Nyx was teleport to the Entrance and back.
Nyx: @_@ What a ruff trip!! Perfect Job, al my limbs are still intact!
Selene: *Giggles* You funny Madam Nyx!
Nyx: ^-^ At least a got a Bright Smile from you. Now for the last staff! The Hammerne Staff! This Old Knight need his Silver Sword back to normal. This staff has the ability to repair weapon back to there normal state.
Knight: I would much appreciate it Young Princess.
Selene: *Blushes* Okay! Here goes nothing >_>…Really. Hammerne!!
The sword rusted Silver Sword returns to normal. Leaving no blemish of its old state.
Knight: Thank you My Lady *Bows, then walks off*
Selene: Your welcome!!
Nyx: Now its time to use the 2 Divine Magic Spells! *Nyx places a book with a Cross on it* The Divine Magic uses the powers of light and the heavens. These Spell Books are common to come by but only few can use them. Selene you and I are one of those few!!
Nyx and Selene walk outside
Nyx: The First Divine Spell is the Lighting Spell! Use all the Light energy and send the bolt of lighting to that Old Dead Walnut Tree.
Selene: Lighting!!
A bolt shots from Selene’s book and zaps the tree into two.
Selene: Whoa!!
Nyx: Good Job!! Now for the Purge Spell! Its like the Anima Magic spell Bolting and the Elder Magic spell Shadowshot. Purge isn’t as strong as Shadowshot but it will have a good critical rate on you enemy! Use the Purge Spell on the old building over there!!
Selene: Alright! Purge!!
A Bright light comes from the book and hits the abandoned building. The building turns into rubble.
Nyx: Selene you’ve pass the First Test with Divine Skill!!
Selene: Thank you Madam Nyx!
Nyx: On to the next area. The Castle Courtyard!!
Nyx, Selene, Erebus, and Tartarus went to the Castle Courtyard. Glad to see each other again the embraced each other. Now that sat there waiting for there brother William and Archsage Merlin. Merlin and William were at the Outskirts of Kingdom Twilight test William power of Anima Magic.
Merlin: Alright William. Here is a Anima Spell Book with three spells in it! The other page are blank, for you and you Brother and Sister must learn these spell then there will appear.
William: Master Merlin, why do always take in mysterious ways?? They will just appear magically??
Merlin: Ah William, my boy Magic is the key word! Now the three spells I have taught you and I will test you on. My old mind is making me lose my memory. What are they again?
William: There are Fire, Thunder, and Elfire, Master Merlin.
Merlin: Good!! Now the Fire Spell is a basic spell. The first part of your test will be to but a Tree ablaze. Now remember anima magic is from the elements. Let you mind be one with the Element of Fire then let it loose. Grab the Spell Book and say the magic word!!
William: Fire!!!
A fireball came from the spell book and but the tree aflame.
Merlin: Good work!! Now for the Thunder spell, almost like it sister spell Lighting. Now use the Element of Lighting and crash it to the deer right there!
William: Thunder!!
A thunderclap struck the deer and the deer fell to its knees and died.
Merlin: Last spell!! The Elfire Spell! A powerful upgrade of Fire. Set that small Forest to fire!
William: Elfire!!
A huge fireball for from the book and set the entire forest to flames. Minutes later the Lovely for was turn into ashes. Luckily, the animals were ran out for the test.
Merlin: William, I would like to say…You passed!!
William: Yes!!
Merlin: Just because this test was easy. Don’t you think the next test will be the same. Nor the outside world, once you become a Young Man…
William: You mean a Teenager?
Merlin: Yes now don’t interrupt me, the world will be a new Realm from you childhood. You might me willing to go or forced, either way can not turn back to you Childhood. Adolescence is the first step of became a Man and a Sage. Sooner or later you will accept that. You can have childish fun, but when it comes to serious matter you must be brave and keep a straight face.
William: Yes, sir!! I understand
Merlin: Alright, lets go!!
Merlin and William went to the Castle Courtyard and were met up by there others. The moon was one the castle which met it was night time for the Triplets. Three went into the castle and when into the Dining Chambers to eat.
Rhea: How was you Test children? Did you all pass?
Selene: Madam Nyx said I pass with “Divine Skill”
Erebus: I was congratulated until my arms fell off!! *Erebus laughs*
Rhea: what about your William, how did your Anima Magic test go?
William: Huh?! Oh I passed!
Rhea: Whats wrong with you, William.
William: Oh, nothing! Just forget about it. ^-^
In fact something was wrong with William. His mind was on was Archsage Merlin said. Although he knew it was true he was becoming a teenager, but he didn’t know he would be force to the his childhood dreams.
The children went into their bedrooms. William still dwelling on his mind. But then fell asleep. But before he went to sleep he thought “The Second test starts tomorrow, and I will be ready!!”
