Beautiful but Deadly
In the D/P Moveset Thread, I found out that most of my beautiful team are not OU. Poor me, I want to make an OU team. The rest are Gardevoir, Yukimenoko, Floasel, and Roserade. Are they OU or even close?

Gardevoir is OU, but the rest are crappy, so they'll probably wind up being UU. BL might be a bit much, IMO. Floatsel is the worst one, and might be confined to NU.

Have you checked the dex, are you assuming, or did you look at buoysel and think you were looking at floatsel? FLOATSEL IS NOT NU, AND IS PROBABLY GOOD ENOUGH FOR OU! sure, defense is lacking, but high speed and attack make an excellent physical sweeper! and rozereido is a good special sweeper, with great sp. attack and decent speed, and sp. defense is high too, phys. stats are low, but not crappy enough to make up for other good stats.

I agree Mewtilator. Floasel is just like Dugtrio and Houndoom. Bad defenses but great at attacking! Yukimenoko is also great, she is probably OU IMO!

Floatsel's Speed isn't all that great compared to better Water type sweepers (such as Starmie), and it's movepool stinks. Rozereido is really just a pumped up Roselia that will get cleaned out by Salamence and Gyarados. Yukimenoko is cool, but it just has somewhat lame Base Stats.

But is has 115 speed and 105 attack! Starmie is special attack so you can't compare it with Floasel. Roserade is good, too, switch out on Salamence and Gyarados (they have weaknesses too).

Yukimenoko is UU, I've come to accept it. however, that doesn't mean I'm not using it, simply in an all-UU team which I will only face against teams of the same class.
and rixta use the pokedex and compare floatsel and rozereido to other OU's and you'll find that floatsel and rozureido are good.

Yes, possibly not overused (due to Floatsel's lack of physical movepool and Roserade's type combo), but they have a chance. Maybe BL?
Floatsel has amazing speed and it is very similar to Dugtrio. Roserade has a huge special attack stat that it could make good use of. Yukimenoko, I don't know. Its stats aren't that great, but it has a unique type combination and a pretty good movepool (spikes without rapid spin).

I know what uber, OU, UU, and NU are, but what exactly is BL
BL is basically the tier between UU and OU. (Too good for UU, but too weak for OU) You can use the Pokemon in this tier in UU or OU battles, though.

Floatsel is pretty much just a Water type Fearow. Roserade might be okay, but it's kinda slow, so it's really just Salamence bait. =/
Except that it has 15 more attack and speed and 20 more HP (that that cancels out with its defenses).

However, with Rain Dance in effect, its Swift Swim is activated and its speed increases to 230! In some respects, Floatsel is the fastest Pokemon.
He doesn't have the defences to use raindance ;/ He will be detroyed before he can launch a single attack.
