This is based of the game Tales of Symphonia. Even for those of you who have played the game, you may not know who Abyssion is. He would be what I call the actual "final boss." Ok, now for the sign up.
The Temple of Darkness. A place of cold, dark hated. So dark, if it wasn't for a few flames within the temple interior, you wouldn't be able to see your hand in front of your face, or the traps and dangers that lied inside... This temple was home to the summon Shadow, the lich of darkness, were, many years ago, he and other summons that were controled by a summoner, who, with the help of group of friends she had meet on her journey, helped saved the world from its untimely death. But in this temple, there was someone, or something, that only the group had seen before.
This was Abyssion. A being of ulimate darkness, not even the lich of darkness knew of his power. It was said that he was released when Shadow was asked if he would help the group the summoner was in, lead by a boy by the name of Lloyd. Shadow agreed, and joined the summoner, leaving the temple open in the absunce of its guardian. Abyssion, noticing this while waiting in a void of darkness near Shadow's summoning spot, came into the world. When coming into the real world, Abyssion smriked an evil grin on his face. The only thing(s) he needed to do what he would to this pitiful excuse of a world, were the Darkness Weapons, weapons said to be created near the beginning of the world and just as dark and evil as him.
When Abyssion first came into the world, he only had one out of the nine weapons, the Nebilim, found right near the place of summoning for Shadow. Abyssion knew that only a Darkness weapons could find another darkness weapons. After sceaching the land in vain for the other weapons, he decides to rest at Flanior, a snowy city full of traders. While sitting outside one day, Lloyd and his group came up to Abyssion for help about the location of a rare flower. Abyssion had a plan in mind. Why do all the work when you can have someone do it yourself?
Abyssion told the group that he didn't know the location of the location but told them someone who might know it that lived in town. Abyssion asked for a favor in return. Giving the Darkness Weapon that he had to Lloyd, he asked if they can could find the other Darkness Weapons and return them to him at the Shadow Temple so that he could destroy them.
The group agreed. While on their journey, they found the other Darkness Weapons. Upon returning to the Temple of Darkness, the group returned to the place where they had found and meet Shadow, only to see Abyssion standing there. They placed the Darkness Weapons in front of him. Letting a grinning, evil laugh, Abyssion changed into a different being, red jewel like eyes, long purple hairs and dark, black skin. Had the end begun?
Lloyd and the group agreed to not let Abyssion to live. Abyssion only laughed, then started to attack the group. As firece as the battle was, Abyssion was no match for Lloyd and his friends. Banished back to the void of darkness with his Weapons, Abyssion was never heard of again...or so thought everyone. With the age of Lloyd's group past, Abyssion came back, even more powerful then before. Even though he couldn't get revenge on the group anymore, he decided it was time to do what he first wanted to do when he first came to the real world. With the power of his weapons, he went around the world, sealing all of the summons within their temples, hoping their power would never again be used against him. He placed guardians on each of the seals, making sure they wouldn't escape. He also sent monsters into towns. Little did Abyssion know, that a group just like Lloyd's, the group that defeated him many years ago, was forming...

I'll probably ask if someone can be the summoner. Just put at the top of your post if your interested or not. There will only be one so I will choose between the sign ups (unless someone has a better way. I know there is probably a better way out there so if someone could suggust a way, plz do
) As for class, some of the things I was thinking about were; Swordman: strit weapons fighter with no magic but the best fighter out of the classes; Magic Swordman: Able to use both weapons (but not as good as Swordmen) and magic (but alot weaker then casters); Casters: weak with weapons but cast verry powerful spells. I like the idea Razor had about listing abilities in his recent RPG and I'm hoping I can borrow the idea You can make up any abilities you want, but remember that they should reflect your class.
