The Review Club​

The Review Club is connected strongly to the Fan Fiction section of the site. Essentially, it's an invitation only group of people that support each other's fan fics. This support may involve posting a review for every chapter, or when you see the story falling to page 3 or 2, then giving it a little nudging post (not a BUMP, you understand, it has to be something remotely relevant) so it's notice by the world again.
In a sentence, it's to stop fantastic fics going to waste, and to get to know other people in the review group.

So, intrigued and want to join? Well post here now! However you will need to prove yourself with previous work (both fic and review) and we don't want too many members. I don't want to sound pompous but that is the only way we can manage such a prestigous group. Good luck! Just ask questions if you're confused here.

Um. Well, like I said before, Smile Guy needs to approve me on this (haven't seen him in a while, actually), but I believe you need to review at least one of our fics, and wait until we review yours. It wouldn't hurt to put a link to your fics in your sig, either (just makes it a little easier on all potential readers, including us).

Anyway, Torkoal's reviewed my fic already. Please check it to see if it's good according to your criteria (I don't know what you judge by, or I'd do it myself). Personally, I think it's a unique way of reviewing, it gets a handle on some of the main points of the story, and it suggests new ideas for the plot, but it doesn't give much suggestion for improvement (then again, most of my reviews haven't, other than yours of course, Smile Guy).

As for reviewing his stories, I have to say this... *looks apologetically at Torkoal* I'm not very good at reviewing one-shots. I guess, if I tried, I could manage it, but I generally don't like them. They just scream out good ideas for actual stories, but they always have to end in one post, so they never can get as much of both plot motion and detail as I like in. *sigh* But I guess that's the entire point of one-shots.
