This was technically Fire's first full appearance outside of the second movie however, because when we saw Fire during the Sekiei League, it seemed to be more like a phantom version of the Legendary Bird.

Butch and Cassidy are getting better at disguising themselves than Jessie and James. And Butch and Cassidy wondered if catching a Legendary Pokemon would make them legendary. Now where have I heard that before?

In hindsight, given how this episode seemed to be a promotional tool for LG/FR, I find it bizarre that Silver owned a Chikoriita and a Bohmander out of all things. His team seemed mismatched.
