On my end i've hit 6900 encounters for my route 47 hunt in soul silver. I hope i can get around 7200-7500 before the end of the day. I've also done some srings for eevee and i've filled a box with some poliwag eggs. Not to heavy on the double hunting as i'm losing my attention to my route 47 hunt while i double hunt. I might find something else to double hunt for a while.

Thats actully it just wanted to check in and report this.

Good luck to everyone i hope something shines soon for me and also for Dark_Steelix. And i really hope that IDatBoi gets his Absol soon.

Question: in pokedex my ditto has a japan entry but its name in its summery is English but its OT is in jp i was wondering does it still count as being from a foreign game?

im also going out to eat after 3pm eastern time so i wont have time to hunt so im doing some right now as i am typing. so good luck everyone even though ill probably never see my shiny absol hatch x.x

I really gotta post in this club a little more often, I still look at it, but I don't post due to my phases with shiny hunting x.x Congrats to all the new shinys, Helio with her Shiny Cresselia, it's such a pretty shiny *.*, JunPearl with the Eevee and Elictabuzz, both awesome, Zabi with Totodile, Storm Dragon with Raikou and Squirtle, NPD with the awesometastic purple Darkrai, Fufu with Trapinch and Slugma, and so on... you guys are so lucky!

Well, I come back with 2 new Shiny Pokemon (To me at least), A friend found a shiny Rhydon off the GTS, Protector attached, and evolved it. She gave it to me for a Bouncecarp, don't worry, it's legit. And another one of my good friends gave me a Shiny Darkrai that he really didn't care for, which is awesome. I love it lol. (C. Ghloe and Blue Snover were the friends by the way) anyway, Summer is here and I am using Shiny Hunting to pass the boredom. I started a Route 42 Headbutt hunt, the trees have Sparrow, Aipom, and Heracross, all three awesome shiny's, I am hoping to get Aipom or Heracross though :x

Well, apparently I'm hooked to SRing for shiny Mudkip. I'm really not sure about making it official, but I'm really hoping I get lucky with it and it doesn't take forever, as well as Poochyena not shining. x_x Well, I think I'll go ahead and accept Mudkip as a target for now while I'm watching E3 on G4.

Nice figure Corroded Arceus! I've done the same, but with a Buizel, although I haven't been able to finish it. ^^; Maybe when I'm done I'll post it here. I've also considered painting a shiny Ho-Oh figure for quite a couple of months now, but maybe not. Depends on the time I manage to get in. Great work. Good luck on your shiny Ho-Oh.

In my own news, Super Mario Galaxy 2 has eaten into my time way more than I thought it would. Such an awesome game. However I should reach 14000 SRs by the end of the night (Unless the tree decides to bloody shine before then *shakes fist*). Cheers up D_S we will get it eventually.

I'm so glad you finally got that damn tree to shine, it must feel great! I hope I can get my lugia to shine so I can finally continue like you get to do. Anyways, I knew it wouldn't be long before you got your luck back! I'm betting you're gonna have quite a nice streak coming up. ^^

A major congrats to Heliotrope as well for also finding her long sought-after hunt! (I'm truly jealous of you guys) I'm glad that you can finally release that sigh of victorious relief. Congratulations guys!

As for me, lugia continues to ignore my pleas of shinyness, completely ignoring my enormous efforts. It has been two and a half months of continuous soft resetting and 22,000 failed attempts. Funny knowing that I have done 11,000 times as many resets as kirk.

I'm currently double resetting for rotom in my stubborn diamond as well as my lucky platinum as I've stated before. Hopefully one of them will shine soon, I'm definitely due for it (and lugia as well).

The Ho-oh re-paint is really nice! Did you use a small brush as a really thin one would work wonders for the detail but it's really nice! Where do you live? I ask because so far in Scotland where i live, Ho-oh is not available in any of those small pokeball things with the figures. I'm trying to get all the birds and i have no Ho-oh figurine whatsoever, it would be nice to have one.

Thanks I used a fairly small brush, but my disability means I have crap fine motor skills, and that's why the fine detail isn't there. Still, he looks good from a distance, so that's ok.

I got the figure from a Chou-Get, which is a small vending machine ball. I live in Australia, and I doubt that you'd find them in Scotland, so I'd check ebay.

Congrats on the Sudowoodo D_S, and any other newly obtained shinies.

I still am having no luck with with my MM adventure for a shiny Charmander. I switched from my Japanese Ditto back to my Norwegian Ditto. While hatching eggs in SS, I've been SR'ing all day for a shiny Regice in Platinum. Why Regice? you might ask. Well, I got lost on the way to Dialga and Palkia and ended up in its room. So I decided why not? I mean it would be nice to add a 3rd shiny and as I have been trying for RE in both for a while now when not hatching eggs to no avail, I feel that SR'ing is my fortay lol. I'm currently at around 400 SRs. Wish me luck, I haven't found a shiny yet in my Platinum, even with chaining as all my chains break at 22 or 23.

Kyogre!

Well guys, after four weeks of soft resetting I am proud to announce that I am now a happy owner of a shiny Kyogre. :] It popped up while I was in bed and pressing the DS's top screen to my face because I thought it was funny that the red of the Kyogre made it look shiny when it was blurry .. but then a shiny one popped up! I was in total shock and stared at it for a good ten minutes .. and then went on to catching it. Took only 3 Dive Balls after weakening!! I was really happy because due to certain .. arguments I lost count of it's PP. Modest synch failed, but I don't care at all because I'm so damn excited to finally have this thing. :]

GUYS OMFG. HOLY FREAKING CRAP.

AFTER FOUR WEEKS, I FINALLY FOUND IT!!! i caught it in only 3 dive balls thrown .. and im so happy right now you dont even know omggg. :]

Major congrats to DS on finally getting the illusive shiny psudo-tree. ^_^

I'm going to be EV-training my shiny Cresselia today. When that's done I might go back to SR'ing for a shiny Azelf in D/P (I was only at 717 SR when I put it on hold to focus on shiny Cresselia). I'll have to get back to my egg-hatching targets (Roselia/Larvitar) soon, too.

I am up to 4725 SR (14175 starters seen) for my shiny starter.
I got bored of that yesterday so I resumed my hunt for my secret target, now up to around 3080 pokemon seen.

Is it just me, or is it weird that every single random encounter (since actually shiny hunting) or SR shiny I have found I have found in the same spot in my house and that spot only. I only ever find shinies when I am sitting in my computer chair in my room. Coincidence?

Congrats on all the new shinies, I must be one of the only people who hasn't gotten one this month. Good luck everyone.

Well, no new shinies to speak of, not even in Rumble. Restarted Platinum the other day, and I'm almost to Snowpoint City. I might SR for Giratina down the road if I feel like it. Thought I might use the same team I had last time I played through Platinum, because that team rocked- Torterra, Flareon, Bibarel, Chatot, Weavile, and Scizor. So far, I have that team exactly, except I haven't evolved Sneasel yet, and in place of Chatot, I decided to raise the Togepi that hatched from the egg Cynthia gave me. Also took me a much shorter time to get the right Scyther than last time I played through Platinum! Last time it took me a whole day. Yesterday, the second Scyther I caught was the one. When it comes to in-game, I'm not too picky. All I wanted was a male Scyther with Technician and a nature that didn't hinder Attack. Second Scyther was Jolly.

Anyway, like I said, the last shiny I got was Mothim, and that was in Rumble. I'll be doing some BCC hunting today. Probably. Perhaps. Maybe. Oh, who am I kidding? I'll probably be playing moar Platinum today.

Oh, and I Repel'd my way through Iron Island. None of my Pokemon had Damp, and it was too much to hope that a possible shiny Graveler wouldn't blow up on me while I was KOing Lucario and the other wild Pokemon. Besides which, Riley's Lucario was level 41! None of my Pokemon had touched level 40!

I was watching (and still am watching) the match Ivory Coast - Portugal and talking to my girlfriend while doing my encounters for route 47 on my 7970 encounter there came something scrolling on the screen i was a little to late to shut my dsi xl and capture the spakles.
