• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

Do you have any pics MT? If not, can you tell me the natures? I want to see if my shiny Charizard and Sceptile are better than theirs. ^^

Ummm, can someone explain to me what the whole pokeradar chain thing is? I never really understood it, whenever I use it I just go to a random patch of grass that moves.

Well, while I've been gone, I've got myself:

Giratina, Chimchar, Azelf, and Noctowl :p
Traded Gira in a long chain of trading for a shiny Jirachi.

Also ummm...to get a shiny pokemon through breeding do you save, hatch it, reset, hatch the same again again until you get a shiny or just keep hatching all the eggs you get till you get a shiny?

You save when you can walk one step and hatch it, reset, hatch, reset, and so on until it's shiny. You can tell how many steps an egg needs by looking it up on the dex @ serebii and you can track how many steps it has by using the step counter app on the poketch. Or you can wait until is says it's about to hatch, walk a bit, save, walk a bit, save, and see how many steps it takes to hatch from your last save. Walk that many steps minus one and save. Then just walk another step and it'll hatch, reset, and you know the rest. Also, you know how to soft reset, right? Just in case you don't, you press Start, Select, L, and R at the same time and you don't have to go through the DS startup screens. ^^ Hope that helped!

Lucky shinyfufu, I wish we had one more week of school. We have three weeks left. Then again, once school ends we immediately go on a vacation and then we go to our new house, so I only have three weekends left with my friends........that's so little time and there are so many things to do!

Well, I found out a technique to easier pokeradar chaining (RSing). Kinda complicated, but easy once you get the hang of it. Haven't really worked it out though. I don't know if it works for all pokemon though. I'll work out some more theories and get back on that. But I've gotten chains of like 20 by using it and when I mess up it's because I'm not paying attention or going to fast.

I played my sister's pearl today because she wanted help, she chose chimchar and it's kinda hard for her to beat the first leader, so I caught a budew and trained her pokemon a bit, and I noticed that the poketch is red on pearl, but I thought that was kind of ugly so I'm glad that I got diamond ^^ Or maybe it was just red because she's a girl. Either way I'm glad that I got diamond xD.

Thats hot NOT to do it.

If you are hatching for a shiny you must either

1.Hatch lots of eggs not restarting just keep getting them from the day care man usually in sets of 5-4 (with one or two slugmas in your party)

2.Or save before you recive the egg once it hatches and its not a shiny reset.

ALL stats and shinyness are decided when you pick up the egg. If you keep reseting you will just be wasting our time.

I found a shiny glameow!!!

I was training up a gabite on pearl to level 40 before i took on the canalave gym, i only had gabite and empoleon left to train, and after defeating a couple of floatzel and glameow i bumped into the shiny glameow, after staring at it for a few minutes then saying "holy crap" i switched to my empoleon and pecked it twice, then i proceeded to capture it in my third heal ball.

I'll get pictures up later, i'm so happy finding a shiny glameow cause i like them anyway, and shiny glameow was a future target, plus it makes up for the frustration i've been having with the pokeradar. :)

Zabi

Not really here.
Told you Venom. :)

New target with the pokeradar, Tyrogue. They can be distinctively noticed with their patch of grass. I think I will go for the whole set as all of them totally pwn!
