Also ummm...to get a shiny pokemon through breeding do you save, hatch it, reset, hatch the same again again until you get a shiny or just keep hatching all the eggs you get till you get a shiny?
You save when you can walk one step and hatch it, reset, hatch, reset, and so on until it's shiny. You can tell how many steps an egg needs by looking it up on the dex @ serebii and you can track how many steps it has by using the step counter app on the poketch. Or you can wait until is says it's about to hatch, walk a bit, save, walk a bit, save, and see how many steps it takes to hatch from your last save. Walk that many steps minus one and save. Then just walk another step and it'll hatch, reset, and you know the rest. Also, you know how to soft reset, right? Just in case you don't, you press Start, Select, L, and R at the same time and you don't have to go through the DS startup screens. ^^ Hope that helped!
Lucky shinyfufu, I wish we had one more week of school. We have three weeks left. Then again, once school ends we immediately go on a vacation and then we go to our new house, so I only have three weekends left with my friends........that's so little time and there are so many things to do!
Well, I found out a technique to easier pokeradar chaining (RSing). Kinda complicated, but easy once you get the hang of it. Haven't really worked it out though. I don't know if it works for all pokemon though. I'll work out some more theories and get back on that. But I've gotten chains of like 20 by using it and when I mess up it's because I'm not paying attention or going to fast.
I played my sister's pearl today because she wanted help, she chose chimchar and it's kinda hard for her to beat the first leader, so I caught a budew and trained her pokemon a bit, and I noticed that the poketch is red on pearl, but I thought that was kind of ugly so I'm glad that I got diamond ^^ Or maybe it was just red because she's a girl. Either way I'm glad that I got diamond xD.
