The Sixth Monthly SPPF Comic Contest (Drawn and Sprited)

SPPF COMIC CONTEST ROUND 6

Alright, this month, I, Devil G, have the floor, and so far with the comic contests, All I've seen are four categories: Relevance, Humor (2x the rest! =O), Quality and Comic Mechanics. Aren't we missing somthing, specifically, with Sprite Comics? Yes. Spriting ability. I'm going to fix that. =)

This months Contest takes root in E3, with Solid Snake making an unexpected Appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Theme of the contest? It's what'll happen if Snake showed up in your comic series (Or somthing along those lines.). Lack of Originality? Yes. Easy A? Not quite.

If you take the time to look, You'll notice that Snake has very few sprites to his name. We have maybe TWO custom sheets, and of course those Miniscule MGS GBC Sprites. This is the fun part, people. If you want to win the contest with a sprite comic, you're going to have to wow me with Snake Sprites.

Your comic will be judged on the following:
Relevance: Is Snake in the comic, or not? Breif Mentions are frowned Upon 20 pts
Humor: If you can make me laugh, you win the points. 20 pts
Comic Quality: Could it have it's own site? 20 pts
Comic Mechanics: Does it look like a comic, or a messy blob with words? 20 pts
Snake Factor/Spriting Ability: Show me how well you can draw or sprite Snake. 20 pts

Heh, this one will be fun, except the spriting will be kinda hard. Though I'm already making Snake sprites now, it's actually quite fun. I was actually thinking of doing something similar to this in my own sprite comic, so I'll try me best to fufil the needed criteria.

Either Way, I guess. If your comic series isn't a comedy, I suppose you could make a one-shot comic involving Snake.

Hurrah! I have made a very satisfying Snake sprite. Now I just need to figure out what plot to work with and it shall be completed!

Interesting, indeed.... I need to recover all of my sprites, first, though, as my memory stick with all my stuff on it got kinda trashed. To the point where I can't use it. And the website that I stored a bunch of emergency links to my sprites is currently DOWN. So all I have recovered as of yet are my personal sprites. Not quite enough. I'm currently trying to track down what little I can without all my backups, but it'll take awhile. Just sit tight.

Oh yeah, this is great. In about 2 weeks this contest will be over, and we have not 1 entry! I guess we'll have to extend the due date, if Devil G and The Sponge approve.

Super happy fun time entry...time! Well i've never played Metal Gear Solid but this was kind of fun. Snake was hard to sprite in my style.

Don't worry, you've got at least until the eighth. It has a good chance of being extended from there, however, so don't worry about rushing.
