Well, I am making another RPG ^_^

The Sonic Riders Tournament

(Oh yeah, and don’t blame me if it isn’t exactly accurate)

Through the town of Telois raced a certain blue hedgehog that nearly everybody knew as the superhero that saved the world nearly every day of his life. Sonic flew through the narrow streets and alleys on the new vehicle nowadays, called an Air-Board, appropriately named. He stopped abruptly and watched one of the TVs located right near the stores of the town.

“Introducing a new tournament! It involves the air boards, and you must race against other air-riders for an amazing surprise award! Come to Cryptic Castle to get signed up and start racing!”

“Will you look at that? Only ten days since these came out and they’re already starting tournaments,” Sonic muttered to himself. “Well, I hate missing a challenge, so I’m off to Cryptic Castle to sign up."

Sonic scooted off towards the haunted castle as fast as he could. As he rode, he found that Knuckles and Tails were riding alongside of him.

“What’re you guys doing here?” the blue hedgehog asked.

“We’re entering the tournament too!” Tails said in his somewhat squeaky, somewhat teenager sounding voice. Knuckles nodded.

“Yeah, we’d never pass up something like this,” he agreed. The echidna slammed his foot down on the front of the board and it shot forward at an amazing velocity. Tails laughed and did the same, and finally Sonic caught up.

Meanwhile, three birds of prey were racing in the same manner as Sonic and his friends. The green hawk, Jet, kept his sharp eyes on the sand before them, trying to get to Cryptic Castle as fast as he could. A purple swallow named Wave circled around him, sighing and putting her hands through her feathers lightly. Her board was a bit more circular than Jet’s was, so it functioned as a kind of air saucer.

“Why so down, Jet?” Wave asked, blinking at him like she always did when she was around him. She liked him and knew it.

“Aw, nothing. I was just thinking of what that prize is.”

“No doubt Storm wants it,” Wave remarked, looking at the gray albatross. He looked straight ahead, not listening to the other two. The bulky albatross wouldn’t stop at anything to defeat the others.

“Storm wants everything,” Jet replied.

“That’s my point,” Wave said with a giggle.

“Well, we’re going to win it, no matter what!” Jet zoomed off into the distance.

Sorry for double posting, but here's my signup (not Jet, Metal Sonic, and Shadow because you guys should know already =P)

Name-> Rachel the Porcupine
Age-> 14
Gender-> Female
Appearance-> Rachel is completely black, though she wears a purple shirt with those elongated style sleeves that hang down. The shirt has a picture of a Master Emerald on it, and she wears blue jeans. The jeans have various designs on them. Her quills stick out to the sides, like Knuckles, only they hang down a little bit. Each of her quills has a white band around it. She has a kind of shell of quills on her back and a tail.

When Rachel enters Hyper Mode, she turns red and her quills stick straight up. The bands turn blue and she goes into a fireball that you can see through a little. Rachel becomes much more powerful, and the one Chaos Emerald she owns glows a crimson color. The Chaos Emerald can do nearly anything she asks it to do, even opening portals, etc.
Personality-> Rachel hates life, though it doesn’t seem like it when you first meet her. She’ll be all nice one minute and then when you aren’t looking she’ll be mad and hating life. Rachel has a huge crush on Shadow, since he saved her when she was younger and her sister Sorrel died. (Of course, Sorrel has come back as a ghost, but Rachel still hates life the same.)

Board-> Type-R
Character’s Traits-> Rachel can shoot her quills everywhere, and they can even come back into their little holes (she feels naked without her quills though, as they are her natural weapon =P). She can use the Chaos Emerald Sorrel gave her to bend time and space, and do virtually anything she wants it to.

Rachel is super fast like Sonic and Shadow, and has her own pair of those cool hover skate shoes that Shadow has. She also has small demon wings that she can use to hover and fly.
Board Traits-> Rachel’s board is the same as any other board, but she can modify it to anything she wants via the Chaos Emerald.
History-> Rachel’s sister Sorrel died in Westopolis, and that made her life terrible. She spent time with Shadow defeating the Black Arms, and now has made her debut in the Sonic Riders Tournament.

Name:Emily the Hegdehog

Age:12

Gender:Female

Appearance:Emily, is a jet black hedgehog, with white fur on her chest that is shaped like a heart. She has spikes that go outwards to the sides with blue tips on the ends. One of the spikes, however, goes out from the back of her head, somewhat like Shadow's. She wears white shoes with a purple star on each, opposite side, and when she runs, they have a purple aroura flowing from them. She has light blue eyes, with the same colour around the edges, with crystal rings on her hands. Emily's weapon of choice would be her Nightmare Emerald, a black emerald.

Personality:Emily, is a very kind hearted creature, who, at the same time, loves to fight. She habours a deep hatred for Eggman, and a deep love for Shadow. Emily often puts up a veil of hate, just to get others to leave her alone. She's okay with the fact that someone else has a crush on him too, and often sees most as her rivals. In a fight, Emily always searches for a weak point, instead of attacking directly.

Species:Hedgehog

Board:Type-E

Character’s Traits:Emily, often uses her Nightmare Emerald to get out of certain situations. She can control darkness and shadows to do her bidding with it. She also uses her move "The Light Attack" to fight.

Board Traits:Her board is basically just a board, but, with the help of her Nightmare Emerald, it can give her small amounts of speed. But only when she's in last place.

History:Emily, was once a human, living with her parents. But, one day, while they were out shopping, a blue liquid began destroying the city, in the process, killing her mother and father. Eggman happened to find Emily and decided to "test" her on his new machines. Taking her to his base, he decided to use a DNA chip his granfather left him, and transformed Emily into: E-Hog 001 "Pi" (Pie). At the same time, Eggman was working on E-102 Gamma, Emily, thinking that the name he gave her was idiotic, renamed herself to, well, Emily the Hedgehog.

A few hours later, Emily had been locked away in a cell, and had befriended Gamma. So, they decided to stay together, soon enough, she went through many things, but, when the time came for Gamma to fight E-101 Beta MK2, he made her go, and she was pushed into one of the escape pods. She was rocketed to Station Square. Where Emily met Sonic, but, when Shadow showed up, she decided to follow him. As soon as she relised he was going to die, she went with him to death. Only to be saved by a black emerald.

She was kept alive by the emerald, Emily had figured out that there were about seven of those jewels, that were even older than the Chaos Emeralds. So, when she was captured snooping around in Eggman's air fleet, the emerald released all of it's power to stop them, making Emily very tired. After going for a few hours, she managed to wander into E-123 Omega, who decided to take her to Rouge. Once Emily saw Shadow, she went head over heels, and was reunited at last with him. Once, however, she followed him into Westopolis. She saw Rachel, and knew that pehaps she could have a rival. She is planning on becoming friends with Rachel, but, she will still be in love with Shadow.

Name: Couric
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance: Couric's a darkish green hedgehog with light blue eyes whose spikes seem to shoot out in every direction, giving him a wild, almost crazy look. But when Couric gets mad, his spikes seem to pull in and then bend downwards. And when he gets really excited, his spikes seem to flare up and he seems to turn a light shade of green. His tail is a bit like Knuckles', seeing as its goes down and then spikes up towards the end

Like a good majority of the Sonic characters, he wears gloves, though his are a redish color and both seem to glow an even brighter red, though its really hard to tell. Around his wrists and attached to the gloves are two small rings that seem to give a charge to the gloves, though Couric doesn't know what they're for. His sneakers look trianglish, a light blue stripe running down the middle of it, surrounded by bright red. At the center of each bright red patch is a light blue button that can be pressed for something special to happen.

Temporary Super Form

Couric's spikes flare out even more wildly than they usually do when he's in his normal form, his pupils and irises fade away because of how much strain is on his body. Unlike Sonic or Shadow, Couric's fur doesn't turn gold or silver. Infact, his fur turns an almost radioactive shade of green, mostly due to the fact that his body glows like any other super would.

Personality: Couric's pretty cool headed, though he does tend to be a little careless when things are starting to getting dangerous for him, which often causes quite a bit of trouble, especially when he's on his air board. Otherwise, Couric's a nice guy who loves to race and will challenge anyone no matter who they are or how skilled they are. He also loves going as fast as he can, despite the fact that he's not as fast as he'd like to be in the running category. When Couric's racing, he tends to go a bit wild.
Couric has entered the tournament in a desperate attempt to possibly find Eggman and get the doctor to return him to normal. Though that could change...

Species: Hedgehog

Board: Type-C

Character’s Traits: Couric's sneakers have small buttons, each having their own specific use and each being only able to be activated once during a race. The leftmost one on his left shoe enables him to spin faster. The rightmost one on his left shoe enables him to do tricks faster. The leftmost one on his right shoe enables him to make his board move at even faster than it already does, while his rightmost one on his right shoe causes his board to do a massive jump. Only one of these can be activated at a time, two at most, and if Couric uses them for a very short time, three. But if Couric ever activates them all at once, it could cause his board to break down and possibly result in some bad injuries for him.

In both of his gloves are fragments of all 7 chaos emeralds that can enable him to transform into Super form for an extremely short amount of time(probably like 5-10 seconds), but because of that, it really puts a massive strain on his body and should only be used if deemed absolutely necessary. If Couric tries to activate it more than once during a race, it'll result in a break down of his body and could kill him. And if Couric activates the power, it causes his sneakers to short out, disabling his buttons and causes his board to lose a bit of speed because of how much energy is being generated. Also, the buttons cannot be activated before the fragments are.

Board Traits: Couric's board looks like any other board, except for the fact that the pad that he stands on is a bright red instead of greyish white and the colored part of it is light green. His board also differs from normal ones because of the fact that it looks as if its very aero-dynamic and built for speed.

History: Couric Kiseito was born 15 years ago to a family of hedgehogs who lived on the outskirts of Angel Island, the place where the Master Emerald resided. He grew up, living a normal live until he was about 12 years old. Couric was out running around the jungle like forest of Angel Island, having become obsessed with speed and now trying to become as fast as he could. As he was racing, he seemed to notice that quite a few of the other animals had left the area and that the forest had grown unusually silent. Then a loud explosion occured, causing the portion of the forest he was in to be engulfed in flames as a large robot in the shape of an egg began to hover towards him, seemingly trying to restrain the young hedgehog.

Couric tried to run away as fast as he could, but the robot caught him and began floating towards a small cavern in the distance. As the young hedgehog tried to break out of the robot's grip, he felt a small flake of dust land on him and soon enough, he passed out.

The robot took Couric to Dr. Robotnik's base, the Death Egg, the same massive station that Sonic and Tails had destroyed not so long ago. When the Eggman-like robot entered the ship, a small monitor floated up to him, flashing on and revealing the maniacal doctor himself.

"What is it? Why have you brought me a hedgehog?" The doctor asked, watching as the robot inserted a small chip into the monitor that caused the screen to fade out as Eggman watched the recording of Couric running around the forest. The screen flashed back on, showing the egg shaped man with a satisfied smirk on his face.

"He's fast for his age. He might just have the potential to outspeed that meddlesome nemesis of mine. Bring him to the testing area and perform Experiment E.072 apon him." Eggman told the robot who just nodded and carried the young hedgehog into a small laboratory area.

Days later, Couric found himself on a small bed, letting out a moan as he grasped his head. The hedgehog looked around, pausing as he noticed that he was in an dark room with metallic walls. Then suddenly a portion of the wall opened and in walked the man who had invaded Angel Island; Dr. Eggman himself!

"So you're awake...Excellent." The man said as he walked up to the hedgehog.

"Who the heck are you?" Couric asked as he sat up, resting against the wall that his bed was attached to. His body felt unusually weak, but of course, the young hedgehog had no idea what, if anything that the sinister fiend had done to him

"I'm am Dr. Eggman and you, my friend, are my latest and greatest achievement." Eggman answered, an evil smirk forming on his face.

"Wha? I'm your greatest and latest achievement? What the heck does that mean?" The hedgehog asked, slowly starting to regain his strength.

"You are the first being ever created who can harness the power of the chaos emerald, even if you only have a small fragment of each one or even just one emerald*." The doctor explained. "A being who can not be matched by any other because of that single ability!"

"WHAT THE?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!" Couric asked as he shot out of the bed, landing in front of Eggman with an extremely ****** and possibly horrified look on his face.

"Simple, I changed your genetics so that you would be able to harness the power of the chaos emeralds even if you cannot gather them all." The man replied, a little annoyed by the hedgehog's sudden outburst. No matter, he would take care of that soon enough.

"D....DAMN YOU!!" Couric shouted as he dashed out of the room, trying to find his way out of the massive space station. Eggman immediatly let out a low growl and ordered all of his robots to chase after the hedgehog and bring him back by any means necessary.

"I got to find a way out of here..." The hedgehog growled, immediatly skidding to a stop when he noticed that a gigantic army of robots had gathered infront of him, looking as if they were ready to capture him. Couric let out a yipe and began to back up, freezing when he felt a wall behind him. He was trapped.....and if they captured him, Eggman might do even more psychotic things to him.

"Out of my way....OUT OF MY WAY!!" The hedgehog screamed as he began to glow a radioactive shade of green, his spikes flaring all around him. He rushed through the bots, tearing them apart with ease and breaking through a wall. As he dashed through the area, a certain blue hedgehog seemed to notice the other hedgehog, a confused look on his face.

"What the heck? Was that a....?" The blue hedgehog asked himself and almost immediatly sighed as he decided that he was probably just seeing things.
3 years have passed since then and now Couric has entered the new tournament for one reason and one reason alone; to track down Eggman and get him to return him to normal.**

Other: Though Couric can access the Super form, his speed and power are not as high as what a normal super form's would be. Though this can be changed if he gets all 7 whole chaos emeralds and accesses the true Super form

Notes:* Eggman probably didn't know about Shadow during the incident on Angel Island, so he considers Couric to be the first being to be able to harness the power of the chaos emeralds. Of course, Couric was changed for the soul purpose of activating the Super form with the smallest amount of chaos power possible.

**I felt that the fact that Eggman had change him so much really ticked Couric off, so I think he would want to return to how he originally was. And Couric thinks that Eggman might possibly get involved in this tournament, so he's hoping that he'll be there

[Shadows Follower]

Name: Gallack (Nickname Ace)
Age: 20
Gender: Male

Appearence: He is 5'9 tall with an average build. He has large bat ears and short fang teeth at the front of his mouth. He has white skin (like rouge) and light emerald eyes. He wears a black shirt with white (card) spade on the front of it. Over that he wears a white jacket that reaches down to his knees. It has openings in the back to allow his large black wings to go through and the buttons going up the left side are metal studs. He keeps the collar up to make himself look bigger. Over his hands he wears two metal gauntlets and around his neck he wears triple seven metal pendant on a string. He wears blue jeans that have several rips and tears all over them. On his feet he wears black army boots that have white love hearts on the side of each boot.

When Gallack is attacking, he has a deck of special deck of playing cards that are filled with thermal energy that explodes when too much force is put on the cards. The amount of energy in each cards is determined by the how good the card is; the better the card, the more powerful the attack
(1-worse, Ace-best).

Finally, Gallack has a set of dice that work in the same way as his cards. The amount rolled on the pair of dice determines how poerful and how many attacks are unleashed at his opponent

Personality: Gallack is free spirited, not a person who likes to be controlled and likes a challenge. He always enjoys a game, even if he loses (although he finds it more satisfying win) cause he knows he will have had a laugh. He likes to be funny, sarcastic and whined people up for a laugh. He does not like to talk about his past, and can even get aggressive if people try to ask to much about it. He is a person of faith, trusting his skill and luck to get him through any situation. His one goal is to make money in life for a reason no one knows. Being a social person, it isn't hard for him to make friends although its hard for him to care deeply for anyone from moving around so much. He enjoys gambling and casinos most of all out of his hobbies. He speaks with a russian accent.

Species: Bat

Board: Type-G

Character Traits: Gallack is skilled in the use of a quaterstaff, being able to disable an unskilled opponent without any problem. He uses his cards and dice in unison to get the best results from them and can cause great gusts of wind with his wings when he pushes himself to it.

Board Traits: The board is painted yellow, black and white and allows Gallack to stand firmly on it. Its most intereting feature is a casino mechanism built into the board. Pulling on a level once per race, three panels on the its floor begin to spin like a casino machine. They eventually stop after 10 seconds. The three panels determine the strength of a temporary speed boost. The better result, the better speed boost of course.

History: Gallack Kolovitch was born in the glammer area of Westopolis, where his family lived in an immigration community. Although his family was poor, they were able to keep themselves alive through stealing. Gallack who hated seeing his parents suffer, began to learn of other ways of aquiring money. He soon learned of the casinos and games that were played there and began to learn how to play, sneaking in as much as possible and winning all he could before he was kicked out. His winnings allowed his family to survive.

Gallack soon became a pro at poker, dice rolling and many other gambling games. Its rumored he even learned a formula to win on any slot machine which has caused him to be banned from casino all across the world in his later years.

But at the age of twelve, an attack from Eggmans army destroyed his home and killed his father. His mom was kidnapped and never seen again. Now a bitter and twisted man of who he was, he began to travel the world in order to make money. Any bar or casino that had been created, he had played and won in each one. Even though he aquired a great amount of money, he continued his ways and still hasn't stop. He has come across chaos emeralds on several occasion, using their power to gain money or selling them off to the highest bidder and the opportunity of a tournament was too much t resist for a person like Gallack.

Other: The disappearence of his mum and his goal of collecting money seemed to be linked...

Name: Knuckles the Echinda (a.k.a. "Knux")
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Knuckles is a red, teenage echidna whose quills look like dreadlocks. He has grey-blue eyes, is 3' 7" tall and weighs 88 lbs. Two of the knuckles on each of his gloved hands are actually sharp spikes. Knuckles has a white birthmark that looks something like a crescent on his upper chest. He wears red shoes with white soles and a yellow stripe. On top of his shoes are metal rectangles with round studs on them.
Personality: Knuckles is honest, independent, headstrong, gullible and loyal to his duty. He usually doesn't smile and is very serious. He likes to be by himself, but will help out if he is needed. Knuckles sometimes acts quite rude to Sonic and often acts awkwardly around girls like Amy, Blaze and especially Rouge. Knuckles is more serious than than most is and knows his priorities. Knuckles has a reputation to get mad very easily and is rather stubborn, but tends to give in to situations when others gang up on him, perhaps focusing less on his duty. This all isn't to say, of course, that he doesn't know how to have a bit of fun. Knuckles is always up for a trip to the local bar and some competition as long as he's free. He is Sonic's greatest rival with the exception of Shadow the Hedgehog.
Species: Echinda
Board: Red Rock
Character’s Traits: Knuckles is pretty fast, but obviously doesn't have super-speed like Sonic and Shadow. Where Sonic has speed, Knuckles has power and is much more of a utility character when it comes to his physical abilities. Knuckles' impossibly high strength enables him to perform amazing feats such as punching holes right through thick steel, lift objects many times his own size, shatter boulders to smithereens, and possess near-maximized endurance; capable of taking some major punishment.
Knuckles can dig by punching through the ground and shoveling the dirt away with his knuckles. He also has the ability to glide by trapping air under his dreadlocks. Knuckles is something of an expert in martial arts. Being the last of the decendants of the colony on Angel Island and therefore tied to the Master Emerald and the Chaos Emeralds, he can sense them from a great distance.
Like Sonic, Knuckles is able to use the Chaos Emeralds to go Super, changing into Super Knuckles. In some instances, he is even able to use the Super Emeralds to change into Hyper Knuckles (in both supe and hyper forms, his pelt is hot pink instead of red). In these "chaos forms," Knuckles can use Chaos attacks, such as Thunder Arrow and Power Flash.
Board Traits: The Red Rock, developed by Robotnik.Inc, is a red board with a white stripe down the middle and a black-and-yellow stripe on either side. Though Knuckles' board is slightly slower than most other boards, it trades in this speed decrease for an increase in power. This gives Knuckles less trouble from obsturctions and allows him to even knock some away without slowing him down much.
History: Knuckles lives on 'Angel Island', also known as the Floating Island, which hovers in the sky thanks to the power of the Master Emerald, which he is charged with guarding. Knuckles is the last surviving member of the Echidna people who once inhabited the island. Due to his rather remote location and the fact that he rarely strays far from his duty, Knuckles is often alone, and as thus can be quite antisocial and distrusting, but on the other side, he is often quite gullible. One example of this gullibility is the belief that he held throughout Sonic's third adventure: that Sonic and Tails were attempting to steal the Master Emerald and that the infamous mad scientist Dr. "Eggman" Robotnik was trying to protect it.
Dr. Eggman, of course, had lied to Knuckles, and was planning on using the emerald to power his space station, the Death Egg. In the Hidden Palace area, Eggman's betrayal was revealed to him very bluntly, in the form of electrocution. Knuckles then joined Sonic and Tails in their quest to stop Eggman.
Knuckles being easily tricked into believing Sonic is the bad guy has become a recurring theme. Also, aside from his gullibility, another running joke seems to be that despite his headstrong and stubborn attitude, Knuckles will very easily crumble under peer pressure; As soon as he says 'No' to something, the rest of the cast will gang up on him and question his abilities until he agrees to do what they wish him to.
Knuckles has been a (sometimes reluctant) friend to Sonic and Tails since then, sharing many of their adventures, getting tricked by Eggman, and catching the thieving eye of a certain white bat named Rouge, who tries to steal the Master Emerald for herself. His other friends include Amy Rose and Cream the Rabbit.

Appearance (provide at least a paragraph of appearance)-> A green furred hedgehog with brown streaks of fur on the spikes of hair on the back of his head. Tufts of brown hair on his forehead that resemble Amy's hairstyle. Also wears transition glasses, a white t-shirt and black pants, with white sneakers and black gloves.
Personality (what your character acts like in certain situations)-> When it comes right down to it, Neon's skilled with racing, but Neon dosn't do so well with conversations and the social life, but, instead, spectates what other people are doing, like a spy. Neon loves making friends, and relies on trust and cooperation when making a new friend. Oddly enough, Neon can't trust many boys of his age, due to the fact he sees them as, mainly, rude ruffians. Neon dreads being made fun of, and always seeks out revenge, but his maturity gets in the way of that. Mainly, Neon's a nice, shy guy who likes to defend himself and his friends.

Appearance: looks alot like sonic except he is missing ears, a tail, has only one spike on his back, and his spikes curl forward towards his face, is brown in color, has a dark blue stripe on the top of his head and chest, wears black collars on his wrists and ankles with metal spikes on them, and hes shoes are black in color with metal bars attached to the top, sides and back, and finally, he has two short blades attached to his gloves
Personality:he is generally quiet when left alone or in a good mood, though he is easily angered and yells alot when he is confused or annoyed, he generally only works for profit, though he will occasionally work for free if he feels generous or he knows he will profit in some other way
Species: Tenrec (a small, hedgehog-like animal for those who don't know what a tenrec is)
Board: Type B
Character’s Traits: Blade is fast though not as fast as sonic, he mainly uses his blades to attack, which are made of a very strong metal and he can use them to perform his signiture attack, the blade tornado, which is sort of like sonic's spin dash except he puts his arms infront of him and starts spinning like a horizontal tornado. He can also use his blades to cut through wood, most types of rock, and some metals. He is very stealthy and can hover in mid air for a short period of time due to the upgrades Circuit installed in his shoes
Board Traits: Has very high teach board built by Circuit the Colugo, the mechanic of his team, his board is made more for balance than speed though it is still very fast
It can directly link up with his shoes due to the upgrades circuit installed in them to allow greater control
It is entirely made of steel and is not covered in paint at all
History: He works on a team with his 5 friends doing jobs like stealing artifacts and retrieving data for customers who are mainly villians though not always
He is the leader of his team and does not approve when his teammates do jobs for charity.
He is very good friends with circuit and therefore he recieves many devices to use on missions
His past before he met his team is somewhat a mystery as he does not like to talk about it though it is likely he was showed up by another thief during a mission, severely damaging his ego early on in his career
Other: Blade is not actually his real name, though only one of his teammates knows it
He generally works alone on his missions, feeling that his teammates will only get in his way
