Cool! Can I join? I've heard that this is the last film with MJ in it, or is that just a rumour?

Nah I wouldn't think so, there would probably be a sequel after movie 3. However, MJ have a rival in this movie, Gwen Stacy. Who is she? Why is she in the movie? Well, can't tell you. :p

Anyway, welcome!

All right all right, I'll tell you.

[spoil]Gwen Stacy, in the Amazing Spider-Man comic series, she's Norman Osborn's wife, or Harry Osborn's mother then. But, that's not completely accurate. You see, Norman and Gwen had two children, twins, in fact. I can't remember their names, but, none of them goes by the name of Harry. So, maybe Gwen had Harry later, maybe not. But anyway, after Norman became the Green Goblin, he became very violent, of cause, and started to showed his temper to Gwen. Not only that, he, as the Goblin, threw Gwen off a bridge! And when Spider-Man tried to save her by shooting a web towards her, the web did stick. However, is the impact that killed her. When she suddenly stopped due to the web, her neck twisted, causing her death. And ever since then, Norman hated Spidey, for as long as he lived.

So, in the movie, there might be a scene where Spider-Man killed Gwen by mistake, that's probably why he look so distress in that poster up there.[/spoil]

Huh? I always thought that Gwen was one of Spidey's girlfriends - that's what Stan Lee said on the Spider-man 2 DVD, and that [SPOIL]she was killed off because he couldn't make her compete with MJ.[/SPOIL]By the way, are you having co-owners for this thread? If so, can I be a co-owner please?

Hmm, I don't know, I'm just going with the whole "Women of Spider-man" video in the extras DVD of SM2. Is the yeah sure for my co-owner plea? If so, then thank you very much!

Okey, here's a topic:
Do you think that The Lizard will be in the third movie?
[spoil]Acording to another article on Wikipedia, it might:
Wikipedia said:
[spoil]
The Lizard was once considered the most likely villain due to the appearance in Spider-Man 2 of Dr. Curt Connors, played by Dylan Baker, who becomes The Lizard in the Spider-Man comics. However, Baker was not immediately signed for the third film while other actors were sought and signed first, which might indicate that the filling the role of Connors/The Lizard is not imperative. There is also concern that another sympathetic "mad scientist" villain in the third movie might seem repetitive after both the Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. However, Avi Arad, CEO of Marvel Comics, confirmed in June 2005 that Baker is signed to this movie. There is some small thought that Dr. Connors will be helping Spider-Man stop the bonding process from the Symbiote and capture it for a brief period of time before it gets to Eddie Brock

Well, doesn't that suggest that Venom is the villain of the next film? In the comics, [SPOIL]Venom goes after MJ (again) and the fact that he's essentiallly a "dark" Spider-man really freaks her out, possibly leading to MJ/Kirsten Dunst's exit from the films?[/SPOIL]

Wait, I found something! Is Norman and Gwen's relationship!

This is, however, very controversial:
Wikipedia said:

In the extremely controversial Sins Past storyline of 2004, it was revealed that Norman Osborn and Gwen Stacy—in a moment of weakness for both—had a romantic tryst. The consensual encounter resulted in a pregnancy that she then hid from Peter with a trip to Europe. She later gave birth to twins, Gabriel and Sarah. Gwen told Norman that she wanted Peter to be the father of the twins, which was another reason why the Green Goblin killed her so that he could have the twins for himself. When the twins were older, Norman told them that Spider-Man killed their mother. Many years later, Gabriel and Sarah decided to kill Spider-Man in an attempt to seek revenge. In the House of M storyline, Gwen is still alive and married to Peter.[/spoil]

[spoil]And no, MJ won't disappear, not according to the comics anyway.[/spoil]

Not according to the comics, but anything could still happen - for example, Nightcrawler isn't in the new X-Men movie, the same could apply here.

Yup, you have a point there.

So...

Do you think Gwen Stacy would be killed in the 3rd movie due to the over-popular storty line (of Gwen's death by Spidey) ?

[spoil]I say there is a very high possibility, according to another fan-made trailer (not the one in my first post) . And, before you say anything, the trailer have to use official images, or it will look fake, and, the fan-made trailer look real enough for me.

In one scene of that trailer, there's an article:

"Spider-Man killed Gwen Stacy"[/spoil]

Maybe it'll be Harry, as GG 2, who kills Gwen, and MJ draws away from Peter, believing that he's responsible?

[spoil]Harry? Nah! Well, there's a possibility, though you must remember, Harry will die, and becomes a hero.[/spoil]

True, but don't you think that we're kinda giving away an awful lot of plotlines which they might use in future films? (oops)

Heh, maybe I should rename this club to, "Spider-Man Spoilers Club". xD

[spoil]Anyway, Harry probably wouldn't show up in movie 3, too soon. In movie 4 probably.[/spoil]

Yeah, I heard that there's going to be seven movies, and that Jonah's son comes back.

[spoil]Seven!? Whoa! That means there will be Scorpion, Rhino, Kraven The Hunter, Shocker, and the widely popular (almost) Mysterio! Ah well, I'm guessing that Peter and MJ's relationship will last till the last movie, when Spider-Girl is born.[/spoil]

Spider-girl? I thought that MJ's baby died, near the same time as Ben?

[spoil]Hmm, yes, I've seen this, but I believe this will somehow be change (hopefully) , in order for the Spider-Man legend to continue, as in the Spider-Girl comics, an older Spider-Man is shown, so, another guy will come up (hopefully Tobey will continue to play as Spidey) and take up the role.[/spoil]

I wonder, if they introduce Ben, will that just be Tobey with blond hair? That would be kinda funny.
