I think I read somewhere that it gets the stalk from the mother, so I guess its a promise with the mom? IDK, the Pokedex says a lot of crap, like Garchomp can fly, Kingdra can cause typhoons by yawning, and Arceus is the god of all Pokemon, when it should be Mew.
