I agree that all the Red/Green sprites are freakin creepy. It got a little better in Red/Blue. Yellow ain't that bad.
Mew is weird as hell in Green.

Rhydon looked like a toy or something. Pinsir looks a bit crazed with those eyes. Scyther looks like he's gone crazy.

Don't forget Cloyster looking completely different from his other appearances.

pikachu looks like a happy fat kid at Mcdonalds in the Red, Blue, and Japanese Green games. then that all ended in Yellow when Pikachu wasn't the jolly fat kid anymore.

A lot of the sprites up until Yellow look strange.

Mew in R/G.

Slowbro and Golbat in R/B. Also Machop.

Koffing in R/B is just incorrect. Weezing is correct though. Koffing is correct in Green and Japanese Red, as well as Yellow and the anime.

Also, in Generation 2, Raikou's sprit is incorrect in G/S.

Actually, throughout the whole intire generations, if you noticed, dragonite's sprite has been changing like crazy. Especially Milotic. Either if it would appear like its bowing down to something, or jumping up toward an imaginary ceiling
