• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

The Stupidest Person You've Ever Seen.

I know a lot of people who complain about food being a few cents more expensive in the cafetaria than in the store but those people also throw away pennies and quarters and leave them on the floor.

Today in class, the teacher asks "what's 273 + 20?" Then he selects someone to answer the person in question waits 3 minutes with answerering and then the teachers gets it and selects another person. The person is dumber then the other one but he answers right. Why?

In my school ther's also a girl that starts to cry when you hide one of her books under her chair. Again why?

And in my school there are people who believe: 1 that a destiny knot is used to transfer the pokemon it's ability (during breeding)
2 that a torrent greninja, a shedinja, a delphox, a lapras (knowing surf and waterfall) are
good

Some times i'm wondering "what am i doing here!?!"

The girls who say they won't date someone who is not 6 feet or more. It's stupid. Not every man is gonna be a dinosaur.

Probably my youngest sister, she had two kids with a abusive drugee and had her kids taken away for at least half a year.

Okay, my classmates just proved their stupidity, again. The best way to show this would be in a tiny script:

Guy one: Hey you, that thing you can write with looks pretty sick.
Guy two: What thing?
Guy one: I forgot the name.
Guy three: Don't you mean a pen?
Guy one: O yeah, a pen.

How, could you forget such a easy word? I don't get them ><

But I have to say that I had a stupid moment myself yesterday. We were discussing veggies when the so called ''three sisters'' are mentioned. those are three vegetables that are used often in recipes. But when I heard ''three sisters'', I thought about Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit. I'm afraid my mind gets to focussed on Pokémon.

How could this makes anyone stupid? Just mean they'd forget its name. Sometimes we fail to remember simple stuff. I at least know I keep forgetting the name of a lot of stuff, and most of them are simple. There was a day I literally had to stop and ask how we call a cake. 'Cause I had forgot.

Anyway, talking about classmates. I do remember one boy in my class asked if our Earth (world) was spherical. He firmly believed it was flat. I still don't know how the heck he assumed that for so many years.

Omg there are many. So so many I've encountered. But one minor stupid person I saw was this lady who ran into her friend at a store and was like "Omg what are you doing here??" and the guy was just like "Shopping." what else would he be doing there?? LOL

Customer: "Excuse me, where can I find the ________?"
Me: "On aisle 6."
Customer: "Where's that?"
Me: "uhh... next to aisle 5?"

I MEAN FOR ****'S SAKE THE AISLES HAVE BIG *** NUMBERS ABOVE THEM FOR A REASON AND THEY'RE ALL IN NUMERICAL ORDER DAMN

I had to get that out of my system. Working in retail is awful.

Some guy crossed the road in between two crosswalks while a car was coming.Seriously, the guy could have walked back or ahead a few feet to lower the risk of getting killed.

I don't understand this thread since it's honestly jumping the gun to call someone you don't know really well an idiot. They could have more knowledge than you in other things and you would have no idea. :/

Also I have to say quite a lot of these examples don't even mean the people are stupid.

I'm going to echo what Sohryu said - forgetting something briefly doesn't make Guy One stupid. He probably had other things on his mind.

Also letting your mind wander a bit isn't stupidity either.

Some guy crossed the road in between two crosswalks while a car was coming.Seriously, the guy could have walked back or ahead a few feet to lower the risk of getting killed.

Seeing one jaywalking is a pretty common occurrence. I hardly think that qualifies them as the dumbest person you've ever seen in your life?

Top notch customer service skills. They probably meant where the item is in the aisle, since aisles tend to be long and it's easy to overlook some item if you're in a hurry or something. Sometimes people don't word their sentences correctly.

The girls who say they won't date someone who is not 6 feet or more. It's stupid. Not every man is gonna be a dinosaur.

Having preferences is stupid now? Also, those are two completely different points. Note how they didn't say "every man is 6 feet or taller".

Well, I'm 5'9" and my friends would always make fun of me if I dated someone shorter. Can you blame me for wanting someone taller? xD

OH WAIT. WAIT.
I got another one.
Okay so one time, me and my ex made a bet, alright?
He said that Growlithe evolves at lvl 30.
And I said no, Growlithe evolves with a FIRESTONE. (I mean hello, you think I would know because I love Arcanine).
But he did not believe me -_-
So we bet, and I won.
And he -knew- what Pokemon was. He played all the games before and such. So he had no excuses!!

Agreed.
I mean I forget like a quarter of the languages I'm supposedly fluent in on a daily basis and stand there stumbling like some weird foreigner that doesn't know words like fridge, pretty, or car. And that doesn't make me stupid (I hope) as I prefer to think myself a reasonably intelligent person.

Anyway, in class a friend of mine generally does some rather stupid things, like misspelling discern, taking like a minute on finding 666 squared and then getting it wrong, etc.

Though I'm prone to mind derps a lot. See: the aforemented language stuff, and though calculations are easy up to 7-digit multiplications, matrixes are horrible and I consistently am wrong in minor stuff like 54-9=45.

I seeing a post on another site by a guy who thought the measles was caused by trauma. Anyone with even basic knowledge of diseases or the human body should be able to tell how wrong this is.

An ex of mine who argued with me for probably an hour+ about how India isn't in Asia. Needless to say, I am glad we are no longer together, I was tempted to throw my laptop out the window.

A few months back, my good friends at Tv Tropes provided a source saying that people in the U.S were going to boycott Naruto Shippuden because of how it ended
Naruto gets together with Hinata instead of Sakura

Assuming this is real, this is why, I have to admit, I tend to dislike extremely hardcore shippers in any fandom.
I mean, it's stupid and pointless to go to such extremes just because two (fictional) characters you ship together don't end up together in the end.

Tony Abbot. This guy managed to embarrass my country multiple times on an international stage as our leader. It's just so disheartening. The sad thing is that its hard to write satire on him because he literally makes his own satire on himself.
