You click the link, waiting for the page to load. A strange musical sound starts to drift to your ears. *dun, dun, dun* You recognize it as The Phantom of the Opera overture. As you gaze in wonder at the page, you look down and see a teenager dressed in dress with full pink skirts looking up at you. This is what she says:
Welcome fellow lovers of theater. If you like theater, acting, plays, and the like this is the club for you.
If you are an actor or actress, a member of a stage crew, or just plain interested in acting, or like discussing stage shows join by all means!
For those who wish to know what a Thespian is here’s a definition:
thespian >adjective relating to drama and the theater. >noun an actor or actress.
-ORIGIN from the Greek dramatic poet Thespis (6th century bc)
Rules:
1) No flaming or bashing. This means other people or characters.
Ex:
Poster 1: Oh, Yente! She’s a vile woman! Tzitiel with Lazar? :shudder:
Poster 2: Is that so?! Well I happen to like Yente!
:flame war ensues:
If you dislike a character, say you dislike that character and leave it at that. Perhaps give a reason or two why you dislike him/her.
2) Spamming=/=no no. Do not spam.
3) Try and use proper grammar. No l33t.
4) If you want to start a topic on a certain play or musical, please include a link to a site that gives a summary if you didn’t give one yourself. Not everyone is familiar with every single theater piece created.
5) Don’t join just because you think a certain movie actor or actress is hott and you have no interest in theater.
6) Anyone can start a new topic if the old one has more than ten posts/and or it has been up for three days.

Topic: (It’s the beginning so I’ll start easy) What is your favorite stage production?
I would have to say Phantom of the Opera. Why? The music is so grand and the plot is pretty good. And the actors can’t be flat or the production is flat. (But as all thespians know, if one show’s actors or actresses are bad, it doesn’t matter WHAT they are doing.)
