Beginning Trainer
Well I came up with this idea because of my love for grass Pokemon. I just hope you like it!
Prologue
Knowledge…the strength to know so little or to know how to do everything. Mastery over it will give you many abilities.
Time…fluctuating events. Learning how to control it will give you advantages over the past, present, and future.
Wish…dreams and fantasies so amazing and beautiful. Power over it can make the seemingly impossible, become possible.
Three gifted beings in the world of Pokemon have these powers infused into their very own soul. The only clue to finding these creatures was discovered in the ocean, on the island, at the exact point dividing the Kanto/Jhoto oceans and the Hoenn oceans.
On the island was a crumbling temple worshipping three beings which resembled Pokemon. The team of researchers consisting of Professors Oak, Birch, and Elm and some paleontologists.
The structure was so old that before leaving the temple, after exploring, the temple caved in. Luckily, during the exploration, the three found a room holding a stone tablet that was carved with a poem:
Looking for our powers three
Will only end in misery.
Great power shall befall on those,
But only if blood’s shed on rose,
And the flower filled with toxins,
And the sun filled plant which grins.
The names Ihcarij, Ibelec, Wem.
Are the titles of us shining gems.
When the three professors separated, knowing this, they went insane, trying figuring it out….
Strangely the three disappeared each leaving notes that said the exact same thing:
“I’m sorry to everyone, but I must search for something with the other professors. To new trainers, my assistant shall grant you with one.”
Chapter 1: The Bloom Of All Flowers Starts With A Single Seed
On a quiet dirt road near the Petalburg Woods, stood a modest little floral shop that’s run by the Flower Sisters.
The people of Rustboro city pass by the little shop and are greeted by Rosa, the eldest sister with gracefulness and beauty, Petalia, the very intelligent middle sister who knows everything about flowers, and flower Pokemon, and finally Sunny, the little cute, but feisty little girl who knows a little some thing or two in Pokemon battling.
Rosa was around 18 when the sisters’ parents died. Petalia was a teenager at 13, but little Sunny was only seven. Working at the Pokemon Center on weekends and going to the Rustboro school was very difficult for Rosa, but she had no other way of providing for the family.
After Rosa graduated the school a year later, she received a full time job at Devon’s Inc. She made a good salary, but she wasn’t happy therefore some reason.
“Something’s missing,” is what Rosa said every night coming home to a very tasty dinner, made by Petalia.
“How are we gonna open up a flower shop if we have no help with flowers? I read that we should use Pokemon help to grow them,” asked the bright Petalia.
“I don’t really know Petalia, but I’m certain that our luck will come some day,” Rosa proudly exclaimed.
“Well, I hope it comes by real soon because I wanna help grow flowers too,” complained little Sunny yet again.
That night when the three sisters were asleep in the building especially made for Devon Employees, a blinding light shone in the middle of the living room.
“These are the keys that need to be safely hidden,” spoke a little green-colored fairy creature in a strange tongue.
“Don’t worry. I’ve taken a very close look at these three. They are of pure heart and wish no one harm,” the pink-furred animal calmly said. It’s tail made itself sneeze, so it was scolded by the other two little elf-sized beings that shined like gems.
“Okay, leave the three eggs here. Listen, they are about to hatch!” exclaimed the little white sprite with the star-shaped head.
With those words, they deposited three eggs, that were now moving around, and the light disappeared from the living room.
In the morning as Sunny woke up, for she was always the first to awaken, she heard rustling of leaves in the living room.
Weird, she thought, aren’t leaves supposed to be outside!?
To her surprise, when she came out she saw three little Pokemon huddling together asleep. The rustling noise was made when they rubbed their leaves together ,Sunny realized.
When her eyes landed on a cute little yellow-sac-shaped Pokemon, she simply fell in love with it. There was a little plant protruding from the top of it’s little head. Filled with excitement, she picked the Pokemon up. It woke up startled, but even though it was about to cry, the little Pokemon saw Sunny’s bright face and smiled. It stretched and basked in the sunlight coming from the window.
“Kern, kern, sunkern!” exclaimed the yellow plant, which meant something like, “Good morning, You’re a cute little girl just like me! Let’s be friends!”
When Petalia awoke because of the noise in the living room, she walked groggily out of her room and into the living room.
She saw her sister with what she knew was a Sunkern and asked, “Sunny, do you know that you’re holding a Sunkern, a grass type Pokemon?”
“Oh, wow big sister!” said Sunny filled with delight now knowing it’s name.
“ Ohhhhhhhhdishhhhhh!” screamed a little indigo colored Pokemon with leaves sprouting from it’s head, as Petalia accidentally stepped on one of it’s leaves.
“Oh, my goodness! It’s an Oddish, and it’s crying!” she said realizing that she stepped on one of her favorite Pokemon. “Aww, I’m so sorry little guy.” She picked up Oddish and rocked him in her arms and he stopped crying.
“Oddish, oddd!” which meant something along the lines of ,“ Thank you for rocking me. I want to be your friend!”
"AHHHHHHHHHHhh!" is all that came out of Rosa when she came out to the living room.
