Bonnie Will Take Care of You! The Pampered Tyrunt!!

On their way to Anistar City, at night Bonnie comes to the rescue of a wild Tyrunt. She decides to take care of it, despite how big it is, but learns that it is pampered so it'll be very tough. However, Team Rocket soon appear, wanting to take the Tyrunt. As Bonnie tries to protect the Tyrunt from them, she soon finds herself in deep trouble and the Tyrunt soon starts to glow. Will they be able to save eachother?

One thing to note: The opening is now back to what it was. However, it hasn't been updated yet

Review:

For a Bonnie-focused episode, this was a really good one I must say. Bonnie did everything to care for the "lost" Tyrunt by pampering it, playing with it, as well as feeding it. And when TR got in the way, she did her best to protect Tyrunt and escape, but TR decide to be a bit cruel and use their robotic arm to shake her off after successfully grabbing Tyrunt. However, the love and care that Bonnie gave Tyrunt gave Tyrunt the motivation to evolve into Tyrantrum and break free. Then it proceeded to go HAM and wreck TR like it was nothing. I guess it was a good way to showcase its fearsome personality and its sheer power.

(Also in case anyone was wondering the "Who's that Pokemon" segment during the break did not show Tyrantrum completely nor explicitly identified it; presumably, this was done to avoid spoilers for the second half of the episode)

However, the key moment here was when Bonnie wanted to keep Tyrantrum. Clemont tried catching it, but failed because it had already belonged to someone else (in this case, an unnamed Fossil Lab/research lab/park/whatever it was called). The fact that Bonnie was incredibly sad, stubborn, and angry for not being able to "take care" of Tyrantrum permanently, but later comes to terms with it is a nice character development moment; she realizes that she can't have everything she comes across, especially when it comes to Pokemon she encounters and bonds with.

Some other notes: Glad to see the newly-evolved Talonflame and Noibat get some screentime, albeit in a scouting role. Bunnelby and Dedenne, though, didn't look so hot. TR actually (and successfully) stole the Tyrunt from the lab in a clean and quiet manner, even though that Tyrunt escaped. But they were somewhat more brutal compared to their previous antics.

8/10.

Can we please get the older, old forum back?
Episode just ended, Tyrantrum was good.

Main points:
- Team Rocket was actually good here, Gourgeist KO'd Bunnelby. Fun as well.
- Clemont threw a pokéball at Tyrantrum, showing his real intent to keep it.
- There was an institution álá Jurassi Park that already owned the Tyrunt, they reclaimed it for their park and allowed the kids inside.
- Bonnie was sad and spiteful of course.

I was prepared for feels, but not like this, man, not like this.

This was a slow-paced episode that flowed smoothly until Bonnie gets captured by TR. It slows down again right after they are defeated, and it would seem fitting too as it was finally time for Bonnie to let go. The other characters especially Ash and Serena acted like secondary characters here, though it seems fair. It was a comfy episode nonetheless, and though I expected a bittersweet conclusion to this episode, I would never thought it would hurt that much. They did a great job of making Bonnie endure and try her hardest not to cry and the seeming blindness or obliviousness of Clemont on the matter (or perhaps he was trying to cheer her up?) added to it. In the end, Bonnie indeed proved that she can be mature but at the same time she is still a child, which was showed well when she hugs Serena afterwards. Love their sisterly bond, and it wouldn't have it any other way.

This was more emotional than I expected. I felt bad for Bonnie and I really like how Serena and Clemont were there for her.

...and then there was Ash, staring off into the distance. (just kidding, I know Ash cares too, but they really need to work on Ash/Bonnie)

This episode reminded me somehow of the one with Max and Ralts. Same level of emotions by the end and the caring factor of Bonnie to Tyrunt/Tyrantrum.

Okay episode. The emotion was a nice bonus.

5/10

Let's go to the beach, each.
The episode bored me up until Tyrunt evolved: Tyrantrum was kinda cuddly which surprised me, though I'm glad Bonnie said farewell to it. I didn't feel anything during the sappy moments though.

I don't think Ash and Tyrunt will ever happen after the emotion fest that was this episode.

Now had this been made an arc or something I'd feel a bit more sad.

Wasn't the worst.

:(...but Bonnie and Tyrantrum were so adorable together, stupid fossils lab, they should of gave him to Bonnie, they had like 12 more -_-....

The only BS in this episode was how quickly and easily Dedenne and Bunnelby were defeated, I call hax.

I can understand the frustration for Bunnelby, but Dedenne? lol

Episode was cute and Bonnie's new voice was ok and I was sad when Bonnie said goodbye to Tyrantrum in the end. I wish she had kept it. :(

Because Dedenne has last WAY longer against TR before so to fall to one attack was crap.

This episode was okay. I loved Bonnie Tyruntum outfit, and Tyrunt was nice to see again. TR was actually not that bad today, I'm surprised they actually dropped her like that. I already expected Bonnie to get very attached so that part was okay. I liked that everyone comforted her. Bunnelby actually had some screentime today too, but it shouldn't have gone out that fast. Of course Noibat does NOTHING. Bonnie episodes have surprisingly always been more emotional compared to the rest of XY, I wonder why the writers chose to do that.

The Episode was so adorable, the cute moment with Bonnie and Tyruntum. it just sad that Bonnie did not get it :(
the first half min of episode was fine but the ending, the moment when Bonnie say farewell to Tyruntum and shouting saying dont follow her, that Tyruntum is belong to this place and hugging Serena, that scene made me cry :( rated 7/10

This episode was so cute, maybe someday we'll see a fossil Pokemon on the main cast.

Overall, I definitely liked this episode, it gave some development for Bonnie showing that she is mature about this stuff and is fine with Tyrantrum staying there at its home. I like how Clemont at least tried to capture Tyrantrum for Bonnie, that showed his intent to keep it for Bonnie, which sad to say didn't become true. :( It showed a Tyrunt evolving which was cool in itself and the ending was strong man, I didn't expect it to go out like that. Bonnie not keeping Tyrantrum was a little bit of a heart breaker, but where would it fit if Clemont did catch it is the question, we'll never know. It showed development for Bonnie and that's always nice to see.

8/10 Good Episode!
