Episode just started
One thing to note: The opening is now back to what it was. However, it hasn't been updated yet
Review:
For a Bonnie-focused episode, this was a really good one I must say. Bonnie did everything to care for the "lost" Tyrunt by pampering it, playing with it, as well as feeding it. And when TR got in the way, she did her best to protect Tyrunt and escape, but TR decide to be a bit cruel and use their robotic arm to shake her off after successfully grabbing Tyrunt. However, the love and care that Bonnie gave Tyrunt gave Tyrunt the motivation to evolve into Tyrantrum and break free. Then it proceeded to go HAM and wreck TR like it was nothing. I guess it was a good way to showcase its fearsome personality and its sheer power.
(Also in case anyone was wondering the "Who's that Pokemon" segment during the break did not show Tyrantrum completely nor explicitly identified it; presumably, this was done to avoid spoilers for the second half of the episode)
However, the key moment here was when Bonnie wanted to keep Tyrantrum. Clemont tried catching it, but failed because it had already belonged to someone else (in this case, an unnamed Fossil Lab/research lab/park/whatever it was called). The fact that Bonnie was incredibly sad, stubborn, and angry for not being able to "take care" of Tyrantrum permanently, but later comes to terms with it is a nice character development moment; she realizes that she can't have everything she comes across, especially when it comes to Pokemon she encounters and bonds with.
Some other notes: Glad to see the newly-evolved Talonflame and Noibat get some screentime, albeit in a scouting role. Bunnelby and Dedenne, though, didn't look so hot. TR actually (and successfully) stole the Tyrunt from the lab in a clean and quiet manner, even though that Tyrunt escaped. But they were somewhat more brutal compared to their previous antics.
8/10.
