As oddly adorable as Tyrantrum ended up being, I'm glad it didn't join the cast. Bonnie and Clemont wouldn't have had a real need for it honestly.

I agree since Clemont seems to use his pokemon less and less. Tyrantrum doesn't fit with Bonnie anyway and would have been too powerful for her. This was an okay episode but I was looking for some kind of development with a cast member's pokemon.

Of course Noibat does NOTHING.

I said this all along ever since he was revealed on the episode's VA list. I simply couldn't imagine him fighting Tyrunt or whatever else he was predicted to do here other than scouting. :x

I know, it was my mistake for thinking otherwise.

I wish there was more Ash and Bonnie moments. Serena and Clemont should interact with each other more so we can have more banlance

What a episode. This isn't the first time we've seen a trainer not get a Pokemon they bonded with. Max and Ralts and May and Swablu come to mind (Man I wish May got Swablu) but this episode has got to rank up there with them. Bonnie and Tyrunt were a awesome pair. And seeing how big the thing is I would have loved to have seen Bonnie ride on it from time to time in between episodes if it had been caught. Bonnie episodes have not disappointed me and this one is no exception. It was a sweet little episode. Obviously we knew Tyrunt was getting caught but at least Clemont attempted to get it to add to the XY group. Props to you there Clemont, my geeky friend. While it was adorable it wasn't anything we haven't seen from other episodes like this. It still caught my interest and I enjoyed seeing Tyrunt evolve to save Bonnie. Sheesh TR, were you really going to let a child fall to her death like that? I know you guys are villains but I thought even you guys had limits. Whatever. When Bonnie told Tyrantrum not to follow or something it reminded me of when Ash let Charizard go. Now I'm not saying this on the same level as losing Charizard. Not even close, but it just made me remember that moment back in Johto, and I remember being a little kid and crying my eyes out when Charizard left. Overall a cute Bonnie episode.

• Loved Eureka's/Bonnie's new voice actor, her voice is more relaxed in tone which is something I like.
• Rocket Gang has been doing better with these villainous acts. I'm starting to enjoy them again.
• I enjoyed seeing Eureka battle Rocket Gang, love seeing bravery.

A cute episode. Loving the writing much more recently (especially for the target audience), seems like the writers aren't afraid to push the boundaries!

Well that's true I guess but I still would have liked a happier ending here. ^^

I understand. Honestly though, Bonnie should be used to these scenarios by now: I myself was prepared all along since she bonds with Pokemon constantly. :p

The TRio have not tried to kill Bonnie, it is usual for them to crash in the land without injury (or small injury) they fall of much higher of that. Ash is not considered as cruel when he sends the TRio crashing, sometimes for no reason!

Mal's Review-

The feels. Not like this.

Pros:

* TR going full Dennis Nedry/Peter Ludlow

* Tyrunt waking up Ash and Clemont +1

* Tyrunt antics +1

* Bunnelby dancing atop a Tyrunt's head +1

* Kek Ash brushing his teeth

* TR more villainous here - casually trying to murder Bonnie by dropping her

* Okay Bonnie riding atop a T-REX = awesome

* Sad farewell

Cons:

* How the fvck did Bunnelby get KO'd that easily? WTF...

* No capture for Bonnie...*sigh*

* No Jurassic Park T-Rex roar

* Why not have Noibaby get stuck with Bonnie, and gain some battle experience that way? It needs it...

* Technically it is a filler in the end

Thoughts:

* "T-Rex doesn't want to be fed. He wants to hunt."

Aw, really wanted Bonnie to keepu the Tyrunt/Tyrantrum. Reminded me of how Ash should have captured Snover in DP.

Pretty good episode overall. Bonnie/Tyrunt fun and feels at the end.

Frankly, TR deserve it though for being villains who stalk Ash everywhere, whereas Bonnie didn't deserve to almost fall to her death. :/

The TRio are really 3 misunderstoods... In more, like I kill myself to repeat everywhere: This is a kid show, get electrocuted by thousands of volts, fall from the sky does not kill, the proof is that the team rocket trio is still alive after.

To understand, it is necessary to separate the things: The Pokémon world is not the same as real life. It's a magical world, like team rocket which changes magically their disguise or which almost flies in the air when they leap or the bandages put on the clothes.

We must do the distinction between the reality and "the world of pokemon"

In more, the TRio already work in exactly the same way in the old episodes and yet they have shown us more than once after they were not psychopaths or real bad people, this is just the villains of the show but not the same kind of characters than Hunter J.

And this -> https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FM6npzS5G7Y/VJwg7-FaPRI/AAAAAAAA0fc/brS-ogR7mbg/s800-Ic42/%25255BSOFCJ-Raws%25255D%252520Pocket%252520Monsters%252520XY%252520-%25252055%252520%252528TX%2525201280x720%252520x264%252520AAC%252529.mp4_snapshot_07.33_%25255B2014.12.25_14.42.28%25255D.jpg
the team rocket taking care of the twerps against the evil malamars in the episode of James and Inkay what is it? If the TRio hate the twerps to the point of killing them why they sometimes help they?

And then, the show suffers of a very bad writing and especially the TRio with Oohashi... *sigh*

While they may not be as bad as J they are still evil because they constantly try to steal pokemon. It is their choices that make them evil Jessie is the worst of the three with no redeemable qualities whatsoever, Meowth proved himself a backstabber, and even though James has a horrible background and he has been shown to care for his pokemon the fact remains he still chooses to side with Team Rocket.

I have nothing against the story between Clem and the Tyrunt/Tyrantrum in this episode, but I really would like to see Ash capturing a Tyrunt/Tyrantrum, if they are ever going to allow Ash to have a Fossil Pokemon. Ever time I see this Pokemon, I can't avoid to think in Pokemon's "Twin Sister series", "Digimon". In fact, when I saw Tyrunt evolving in this episode, I couldn't avoid to think "Agumon Digivolves to... Greymon!".

So, what do you think? Do you like the idea of Ash capturing this Pokemon someday?

yep I actually have no problem with Ash catching a Tyrunt/Tyrantrum........maybe make a larger than average member of its species with anger problems and just being all around cynical of both Pokemon and People (albeit tamer than Iris's Dragonite in both categories) who later turns into a grumpy gus who likes to fight just to give it its own little personality. and this is coming from someone who dislikes the anime

This is the second time Bonnie was denied of getting a new Pokemon because they belonged to another trainer. The first time was that Flabebe.

Recycling plot lines is one thing but this kind of thing needs to stop.

That is a unique way to think about Team Rocket, since they have survived countless blastoff's then there would be no troubles with dropping the kid a long distance to the ground. Maybe it is just that they are so accustomed to Ash and company saving the day that TR assumes that Bonnie would be saved from her fall?

Therefore, the lesson from today is to never let a member of Team Rocket babysit your children.

Such a cute episode, seeing Bonnie care for Tyrunt the way she did. I also thought the ending was pretty sad, with Bonnie not being able to keep the Pokémon she bonded with. Also, I noticed that TR's Wobbuffet didn't appear in this episode. Did I miss something?

I wish Bonnie wasn't saved and TR got away with Tyrunt...... I hate her.

Anyways, worst episode of the entire series like the other Bonnie episodes. I was smiling when Bonnie was crying. 1/10
