The Totodile Duel!

When they see a Totodile, Ash & Misty both jump at the chance to get it, they both throw their Lureballs at it and one of them captures in. Not knowing who actually captured it, they decide to have a Pokémon battle. Who will win?

I love this episode! Totodile is just coolio!
It was funny when Team Rocket tried to catch it!
Even thought Misty lost, her Poliwag evolved so really there were no losers.

Who do you think actually caught Totodile? Ash or Misty?

Another good episode, since we get to see Ash and Misty battle (in a way.) :)

I think it was a cool episode with them fighting over Totodile. Their battle was awesome! I think Misty should have had it but hey, at least Poliwhirl evolved for her so she was happy with that. :)

I was frozen today!
Not a bad episode. The battle between Pikachu and Togepi was good for a laugh (the sweat running down Pikachu's back when Togepi hugs him had me in stitches for a while). Only problem is, Kids' WB aired it the week after they aired "Fowl Play", and it seemed pretty weird to have Ash catch Totodile the week after he used it to catch Noctowl.

The Pikachu vs. Togepi battle was great. It was a good strategy and was funny how Pikachu was freaked about battling her.

I'd say Ash caught it really, because Misty picked up the other ball didn't she and used in on her Corsela.

Great episode over all. Both of them got really cool pokemon in the end.

This episode has one of the funniest visual gags I've seen on the show, where Ash and Misty are fighting each other between the splitscreens. ROFLOL :D I love the popup/splitscreen gags, they're always the funniest. I liked quite a few scenes in this episodes, like Team Rocket mocking themselves in motto form, Totodile joining in the random Team Rocket celebration, Wobbuffet taking a close look at things before James tosses him away, Poliwag evolving, and Totodile's madcap dancing. He always was a ham. :D

Overall, great episode.

Hilarious episode. Totodile really owned TR big time by taking on all of them with little effort. The only problem was Misty's obsession of wanting the Totodile.

Of course, Ash gets Totodile. Glad, they didn't let Ash get all the starters in Hoenn and Shinou.

A great episode, nice to see Ash and Misty renew their rivalry, that began when they first met, and seeing Totodile my favorite Johto starter is always a treat, though I wonder how Totodile would've done under Misty's training?

Who wouldnt love this episode?I mean it was full of interesting situations,funny moments etc.The whole battle between Ash and Misty to determine who is going to keep Totodile was unique and i liked how Misty reffered to Togepi of being her secret weapon against Pikachu,lol.Too bad that Misty in the end lost because she really wanted to get that Totodile and she gave all from herself to try to win.Battle between Poliwag and Bulbasaur was especially impressive.

However at least her Poliwag evolved in Poliwhirl in the end so it could have been said that everyone won in this episode.

As you can tell from my sig (as of the day I posted this) I love Totodile. I'm glad that Ash got to have it. But he didn't seem to use it that much and never turned out as all of his other water Pokemon. I hope Totodile gets used again.
