If any of you are like me, you're a greedy, thieving scavenger when it comes to Pokemon games. Stealing items from other trainers' pokemon, wild Pokemon, and picking up objects at every turn are commonplace practices for you. If any of the above is true, then this club is for you!
Welcome! Here we can discuss our scavenging adventures, and just about anything to do with item finding and theft in the world of Pokemon. Keep in mind that one trainer's trash is another's treasure, and that there are good things to find in just about every area. That being said, let's get down to the basics.
First off, the FAQ.
1. Q: What is this club's purpose?
A: If I had to answer this, I would say to create a comprehensive listing and understanding of all the items that may be found in the Pokemon games. For example, did you know that in FireRed and LeafGreen, many trainers of Fighting Pokemon have black belts attached to their Pokemon?
2. Q: Which games can we talk about?
A: Any of them! Although my knowledge is really more centered around the third and fourth generation games, the discussion is open to ANY Pokemon game, including the ones from the GCN and N64. If you have some interesting information to share, or a question to pick at our brains, then by all means, join!
3. Q: Why are you interested in this, anyway?
A: My favorite kinds of adventure games are the ones where you can collect a bunch of STUFF. I'm a pack rat and a hoarder in real life, so I guess it makes sense that this aspect appeals to me in games too. I'm kind of hoping I'm not the only one.
More will be added as they come. But for now, let's move on to the rules.
Rules. Follow or face the wrath of... er... somebody important! @_@
1. No flaming.
This is a very important one. I won't tolerate flaming or insults of any kind in here. EVERYONE'S opinion is important, but not in the interest of insulting another member. We all have the right to our opinions about these games, and being able to voice them is what makes us free. Don't ridicule others for theirs, and we'll respect yours. Breaking this rule is an instant ban from the club. Capisce?
2. No Second-hand information.
If you're posting information, and it's not already on the Serebii site, I would appreciate it if it's something you've found out yourself, through your own experience. Don't tell us what your friend down the street told you, or what your cousin twice removed has to say. We're interested in the facts, and facts can change from one person to another.
3. Stay on topic.
This one should be elementary. This club is not a chatroom. Stay on the topic at hand, and we should all get along fine.
4. Abide by Serebii Forums Rules.
This goes without saying, but I'm going to say it anyway. Don't break forum rules here. If you don't know where they are, the rule thread can be found here.
