Comments about the match: This was very frustrating for both of us. I was up 5/3 in our first game and it was going well for me and he DCed. He messaged me and said that the DC was on his end and he had no idea what happened and awarded me the badge since it was at his discretion to decide. I still wanted to battle it out and he agreed to rematch me so we went into another game. We were fairly early into the game and I think we were 5/5 and he DC'ed again. Blah we both said as we tried over and over to get into a battle and kept losing connection. We got another battle going and DCed almost right away. We decide to try one more time and after some failed attempts we FINALLY get a connection and we start. He is on his game and I am down a Pokemon and I switch my Starmie into one of his pokemon and he scores a huge crit! It was trouble for my badly damaged Starmie and half dead Heatran...and he DC'ed. We decided to just go ahead and call it since it had been many failed attempts and it just wasn't working. Alas, the fates decreed it was not meant to be, but we agreed to try it again for the fun and challenge in the future!

Either way, my hat is off to TwinYoshi45 for building some awesome fire teams and giving me a great first battle and several nice partial battles! Thanks a bunch!

Comments about the match: was a well played match while it lasted sadly due to some annoying connection issues we were unable to finish the match but I have decided it is a win for him irregardless! so GG! enjoy the Flare badge!

We made the switch to ORAS in January. That said, I'm pretty sure most leaders are willing to accomodate XY challenges as long as you let them know beforehand, since they're mostly compatible with each other.

• The Dragon Gym has been vacated due to inactivity. It will formally be taken over by xDIRCIOx. Please welcome xDIRCIOx who surely will make for a terrific Dragon Leader.
• Khybon will formally be taking over xDIRCIOx's Bug Gym as the new Bug Gym Leader. Please welcome Khybon in this position~
• As mentioned earlier, ColtonL has renounced their position as Carousel Compère. If anyone is passionate about Rotation Battles, post your application for this Frontier position.
• Likewise, the Battle Castle has been vacated due to inactivity. If anyone thinks they would make a very good Castle Lord, defending in the Smogon Doubles format, post your application here.
• Lastly, also due to inactivity the Steel Gym position has been vacated and welcomes applicants who are interested in becoming a Steel Gym Leader.

Please be reminded that activity is essential to our successful operations, just as much as a supporting and good spirit is. We are a communal League, which means we exist because we are all passionate about what we do. I as League Overseer shape our identity no more than all of our Leaders do, so let's carry on the great momentum our League has in terms of activity and fun ORAS battles~

Dircio was my apprentice for a bit so I was letting him take all challenges, but he asked if he could stop his apprenticeship so I told him he could. On that note I just got a new shiny member of my team that I'd like to train and I still need to catch shiny Latios so I will be closed for about a week or so.
