Most of you have probably heard of a strange truck that exists in the Vermillion Port on the shoreline beside the S. S. Anne. But what is it actually there for? I look foward to reading your theories.

It is just leftover programming that they forgot to get rid of. In the Celadon Game Corner you can find the keys at one of the slots.

Dunno why it's a truck, but maybe it's some sort of an "easter egg". Maybe they just put it there to see if anyone would find it. They probably didn't even expect most of the fanbase to find out about it.

I've never seen the truck, but I've always wanted to. Is it worth going through all of the trouble to find it?
I've seen it, you must have someone trade you a pokemon with Cut so you don't go on the ship until you're able to Surf. Tried it, complete waste of time, don't bother.

It has no use, its just some beta programming nintendo left in, they proboley thought it was in a remote place and no one would find it.

It doesn't take a genius to find it though :D. In fact, I found it pretty easily before all these rumours even came about. But WHY a truck? I can't see any possible use for it, so why would they make it in the first place, unless it was just like I explain in my first post? They could have at least put a secret item there or something. That would have been fun.

...well. In FR/LG you can find a Lava Cookie there, if that counts. XP

I know in the original RBY you could do it with any trainer that had the eyesight as long as that gambler did. That would be the only way to find a Missing No. in Yellow.
