Well my question is in the title, but focusing on the battle tower.



i mean a team that could stand up to a few haxes and win

is a team focused on bulky or fast sweepers?

Just use trio's (entei, raikou, suicune, zapdos, moltres, articuno, regis)
And make sure they have a matching moveset.

A matching moveset? I would say one Bird, one Gerbil, and one Regi. If you don't like legends, use Salamence, Metagross and Gengar.

That team has two pokemon weak to ground. My bf team (alakazam, salamence and metagross) is pretty good, well balanced, and covers everything.

Starmie is made for the Battle Frontier with its special sweeping movepool of doom. Metagross is also a great Pokemon and the Latis are too.
