I know this has been done many times before, but while looking around I noticed people aren't doing it much.
In order to become a gym leader you must beat the Standard Setter (me). You then get to pick a gym, any gym at all. You must then PM me with an entrance like form:
Name: (forum name)
Region: (Kanto - Sinnoh)
Gym: [if Johto(Violet City - Blackthorn City)]
Pokemon plan to have in your team:
(pokemon)
(move)
(move)
(move)
(move)
(item)
all of the above x 6
TM: (a TM most of your pokemon will have and one that you can buy or obtain quite easily to give to trainers)
Your name should be your forum name. Depending on what gym you want pick a region. Pick a gym in that region. 6 pokemon you want to have on your team. And a TM which is the same type as your gym.
After you have entered your application I will make sure that:
- you have at least 5 pokemon that follow the type of your gym. One of any other type (optional).
- four of your pokemon must have at least 2 moves that are the same type as the gym. The other two must only have one that follows the same type.
- four of your pokemon have the TM you chose.
I will then PM you saying what Pokemon you can have and any other things you need to change. This way there is a sort of difficulty setting so that the first gym doesn't have 6 super strong pokemon. You are not allowed any legendaries. After I send the message you have 1 week (may vary depending on how many pokemon the leader has)to train your pokemon to lv. 50. If you
exceed the time limit the space will be left open and you will have to battle me again and re-aply. I will not post your pokemon, only your gym, so that the challenger doesn't have a big advantage.
After we have our first gym set up I can challenge the leader to take their place, if I win the leader will become the Standard Setter and I can take a gym. Challengers must battle the Standard Setter, they can then apply for a gym. Gym leaders may then challenge themselves, not as gym leaders, so they can have whatever type pokemon they want. This tests their skill. Let's say the first gym was the Pewter gym and a challenger applied for the Vermillion gym, the Pewter gym leader and the vermillion gym leader would battle. If the Pewter gym leader wins, the vermillion gym would be the easiest gym and the Pewter the, the second easiest. Then I will increase the
difficulty setting for the Pewter gym.
There we have it. Enjoy.
