The Wish Cave Way

Well, I am setting off for Wish Cave, and I am kind of wondering if I am ready, after being disappoint when I didn’t see Mew once in the Buried Relic.

I am a Blastiose, with Charizard as my partner.
The items I intend to take are:
7 Reviver Seeds
5 Max Elixthers
3 Huge Apples (I think I need to revise this, since I am bringing a Tight Belt)
1 Tight Belt
1 X-Ray Specs (On Charizard, untill they are needed)
1 Joy Ribbion

I need help with my item list, so if anyone has been successfully through Wish Cave with a Blastiose or Charizard, please help me out with a strategy and my items.
(And no, I will NOT use any other Pokemon, so please don’t recommend any others, although you may say who you used to get through)

looks good, but here is my tip. Max elixers aren't in big supply, apples on the other hand r, so take 1 apple off and add 1 max elixer, then, i have a tip, instead of x-ray specs, take the wish stone so u can fight Jirachi at it's end. x-ray specs r technicly useless in that dungeon, but in buried relic they r. Tight Belt isn't neecarry, but keep it around just in case, like on ur partner. Make the Joy ribbon work on ur main guy. I also suggest going solo...

Wish cave is hard, i died at about 23 floor. trust me, u will need many max elixers, maybe swap a few apples for those...

Try it with Electrode, and take TM frustration.
45 autodamage4 ain't bad, and electrode knows sonic boom, which is 55 auto daage... WOW!! they r useful. DO NOT use Balstoise and Charizard, they take too long to lvl... use a pokemon with good attacks in beginning. Look in the serebii.net spin-off dex for attack lists... bring TMs

Use Charizard alone nuff said.

Partener = Reviver seed eater machine.

And blaistoise sucks for this dungeons so use chariard alone.

Items Thight belt and cleanse orbs nuff said again .

Charizard is fine, but don't bring Blastoise along. Also, bring a Pass Scarf as held item, and 20 Reviver Seeds. That's all you need

I don't think I will split my team up, I am Blastoise and don't like being Charizard. (How many times do I have to say I will use Blastiose and Charizard TOGETHER or not at all)
The only purpose he will serve me is to Heat Wave the Monster Houses.

How many Clense Orbs?

I may consider only using Charizard, but what is so wrong with Blastiose?
What about hunger? I dont want to use up all my R. Seeds for fainting of hunger.

You wont get through the dungeon with a partner. Just go as charizard with a pass scarf and 20 reviver seeds. You dont have to mouth off at a sugestion.

On my first post, I said I wanted suggestions from people who have gone through with Blastiose or Charizard.

Maybe if you could tell the diference between mouthing off and having a conversation...

Yea... -_-; Who else do you think your Charizard's Heat Wave will hit... Remember all your IQ goes down to one. Take the Tight belt some Apples and Max Elixers. Bring some Cleanse Orbs, one Emergency Escape Orb also. Don't forget plenty of Reviver Seeds.
Thats all there is to say.

Hey, it's better to do a dungeon as something you like than something you don't. I think maybe Blastoise could be fine if you bring a good TM for it, is all, but I'm not quite sure. Never tried any level one dungeons with a Blastoise before.

All you really need is to know when to stick on a floor and train and level up, really. Patience.

If I were to use Blastoise, it would be as the Leader, not a partner.

Why exactly should I use Charizard in place of Blastiose? Does he have better stats?

Teach you and your partener frustration and attract. Frustration does a set 45 damage. Attract is uber good. The x-ray specs will help you find stuff, the pass scarf will save you in many situations and the mobile scarf WILL get you out of tight situations

Don't get me wrong I like Blastoise but he isn't so good for this dungeon unless you bring a TMs like Frustration, Attract and Surf.

Thanks, this is good, but what about a Tight Belt?
(Dont Mobile Scarfs make your hunger go down faster when you use them in walls?)

1 tm flamethrower
1 tm frustration
3 cleanse orbs
1 pass scarf
4 max elixirs

(there is plenty of food inside)

first off, ur being stubern, blastoise will kill u and ull never make it! Second there r food items galore in this dungeon, on the first 10 floors i maxed out my belly size! I need to try a good pokemon, but it don matter, here is the item list recmended.

Cleanse Orbs:3
MaxElixers:5
Reviver seeds:12
And a hold item, either pass scarf or joy ribbon.
The best advice i have is don be stubborn and listen to people's advice, it may work better, because they kno by expierence, like diing 37 times on floor 10 or somethin!

Just to bring some things to your attention:
In the battle versus Jirachi, NEVER use Pass Scarf. It will say "a mysterious force prevented from moves being passed"
Secondly, do you want to go to Jirachi to recruit it or to make a wish? If making a wish, then take a Wish Stone with you. Otherwise do not take it. You can still fight Jirachi without the Wish Stone.
If you still plan on Blastoise being the leader, you could give it a Joy Ribbon, since it needs a lot of exp. to level up. Charizard will level much faster caompared to Blastoise. Also, since blastoise is holding Joy Ribbon, then it won't be holding Tight Belt. When Blastoise's belly is about to empty, you can switch leaders, and the belly will be full. Continue walking depending on Charizard's bellly, then when close to emptying, you can start using apples. If belly reaches zero, and then you switch leaders, Blastoise will not move at all.
