Hello all.

I have a question relating to 7 island in Fire Red/Leaf Green.

Directly to the left of the pokemon center and a little south, there is a little house with an old lady who makes some veague mentioning of her experience as a pokemon trainer in her youth, however, in the back of her house, there is obviously three boxes and one is in front of a doorway. Giving a click on the center box gives the title of this topic.

How in the blazes do you move those boxes? I've tried all the HMs and they won't allow the use inside the house.

I have also noticed a similar place in Ruby/saphire in mossdeep city with an old man who gives a similar speach, but has a locked door in the back of his house.

Can anyone give me some non-spoiler tips?

I think those are related to the E-Reader. You get an E-Card of a trainer, scan it, and you can battle them back there.

I remember reading something like that somewhere, maybe someone else can clarify.

That THAT!
Someone told me that in the Japanese version of FireRed and LeafGreen it had no boxes and you can go through it. In the English/American version the graphic designers took out that part of the game. Also this is true too, in the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Japanese version you can go up the stairs to somewhere I have no idea. The English/American he blocks the stairs with plants so you can't go up there. Hopes this helps you!

That puzzled me for a bit. But then I got annoyed and left, eventally forgetting them. What's the point in them leaving a bloody door there! Just paint a wall over it and put us at ease.

Poke'Blaze, do you know what was up there in the Jap version?

both those and the ones in ruby/saphire use an e-reader to open them for trainer battle areas. ONLY IN JAPAN have they made an released tose cards

DarkSpectrum is correct, there's a house like this in all of the 3rd gen games and it's for e-card battles. You can only do them in Ruby/Sapphire, since these were the only games in the US that are compatible with the e-reader.

For the record, this is answered in the FR/LG FAQ sticky:

Please PLEASE read the stickies before making a topic in the future. :)
