What i hate about the games are that it's different from the anime... for example the episode with Ash and co. going into the valley of steel. Where Ash caught his Torkoal. There was no valley of steel in any of the games. I hope that D&P will have the same stuff as the anime. Do you agree?

No, I think. First: The games and anime ARE quite similar and second, it would be very boring if EVERYTHING was exactly the same.
But it's right, they could make more towns in the games. But I think that would break the size of the game. Just imagine how big it would be then!

It would take forever to get from one town to the next if it was based on the anime, and I think that it's fine without being based on anime. And the anime for each region domes out after the games so the anime is based upon the game.

Games are for gameplay, the story is crap, which is why the anime adds this stuff.

The point in here is fairly valid, although I daresay most of us posting here don't think the games are "boring as hell" as Cyber has so eloquently stated. But the game would fail if it was like the show-games and TV are very differentCyberCubed said:

Hence why the anime writers have to create all these new areas and events, because the games have an almost non-existent story.

Anyways, I believe if they were to do that then we would just be watching what we are playing, thus making it bored because their really isn't a unique style. I'm sorry but without Filler episodes, then the Anime would just be kinda straightforward and boring. (This is just MY opinion)

Okay, now that that's out of the way ..
You can easily make the game like the animé on your own, without having the game sacrifice itself to be like the animé. Just .. you know, evolve your Pokémon late, take it slow, pretend to take side quests. That's pretty much the animé in a nutshell, really.
