things about pokemon that don't make sense

Have you ever thought it was weird that a pokemon could learn a certain attack? Have you ever thought a pokemon should learn an attack it could not? Have you ever thought that a pokemon had stats which were completely insane? Well, post your ideas here!

And just so you know, this thread is based on logic alone. Don't think about the battle stratigy. For example, don't say that a pokemon should learn an attack, just because it would make it good in battle. You should only say this judging by the pokemons physique, and possibly the pokedex entry.

Well, I for one don't understand why Houndoom doesn't have the Intimidate ability. It's a hellhound, right? They should get rid of Early Bird and replace it with Intimidate.

Also, if Gyarados is part flying, why doesn't it learn Fly or other helpful flying moves?

I believe Gyarados should be changed to part dragon, considering the legend. I never quite got why they stuck flying in there. Perhaps to keep the dragon type rare?

I don't understand why Diglett/Dugtrio have Slash (sure they have to dig with claws, but where are they and why don't we see them?). Maybe we will see in Battle Revolution.

If a shiny Shellder latched onto a normal Slowpokes head or tail, would the resulting Slowbro or Slowking be shiny, or regular?

How come all psychic pokemon can't levitate like Lati@s doo? I mean like mew and mewtwo float in the anime but no levitate? mew doesn't even use his powers to fly, mewtwo dopes but doesn't mew deserve levitate at least?

for all of you wondering why gyarados is flying type, it's because if he was dragon, he would be way too cheap. Flying gives him one big weakness, which is lighning. Most dragons are weak to ice, and gyarados wouldn't be, because it's part water. And you're probably now going to say something about kingdra, but does kingdra compare to gyarados in sheer strength?

And about diglett, it does have claws, but they are just usually in the ground, and hidden. My reason as to why you don't see them when they attack the foe, is that diglett and dugtrio can slash their opponent so quickly, that you can't see it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that digletts are very fast.

And, this is just for stats, and attacks. Please don't say anything like how an attack works.

I've gotten something that has to do with stats. What stats would a human have? They have got to be stronger than a little Pidgey. How the heck a Pidgey could ever vs. a Wailord is a question I can't answer.

I think that body slam should strengthen with the users weight and size. I think that a Wailord or Groudon body slamming a Pidgey would hurt a lot more than a Jigglypuff's.

What if the Slowbro had a shiny tail and the rest be regualr, or the Slowking has a shiny head
