Things in the Pokémon world which just don't make sense (by pokémon standards)

Tyrunt's dex says it throws fits and tantrums, yet doesn't get outrage, but it sure can use dragon claw with those stubs

you think that's weird Tyrantrum can learn Charm Exactly how does a T-rex gaze at the opponent rather charmingly, making it less wary? i means it's hilarious but very weird.

I am wondering about the biology of each individual Pokemon. How can a Pokemon forget amnesia? Can ponyta reall jump over the luminosity city gym?

Shiny Pokemon, yeah they're rare and all that, but I was always curious as to why they're "rare" in the Pokemon World.
Then, it came to me, shiny Pokemon are Pokemon that are albino. They're rare because they can't survive in the wild like their regular counterparts, and you CAN breed shiny Pokemon with other Pokemon (ONLY in G/S/C) to cause the chances for hatching shiny Pokemon to rise. I read into that there are people who breed for albino animals, and that's successful in most cases. Like breeding, you're more likely to breed the regular kind, than the albino Pokemon (Hence the 1/8193 and 1/600 chances).

Clearly we're great!
How is it that Murkrow can't enter a Sky Battle? Got roped into one while using Murkrow as my strongest while training some weaklings and it said that out of my whole party, only Sigilyph was able to enter. Tha heck.

Gengar has Levitate, but its game sprites show it's not floating at all. Just look yourself.

Also, mentioned in POtD, Snorlax doesn't learn Slack Off. WHY???

Also, Escavalier's Dex Entry says it flies around in high speed, but in the games, its Speed in only 20. :|

Why is it you can't name your own Pokemon "Thumper" but there's an in-game trade Steelix with that name.

Pokedex is garbage....

Anyway I thought about it and it makes perfect sense as to why Gary Oak had badges from gyms we never saw. It is beneficial for a trainer who started from Cinnabar Island for instance and collect badges then to have them go all the way to Pewter City just to start...

I actually sort of have a headcanon that shinies were albino as well. XD

Here's something that's confused me ever since watching a certain PMD2 LP: What's up with the Time Gear slots in Temporal Tower? Are Time Gears a fail-safe?

I think it meant that while Time Gears can maintain time in their respective areas, the slots in Temporal Tower were a last resort were something to go wrong.

My personal headcanon is this:
At the very beginning of the PMD universe, Temporal Tower was created. However, just in case something would ever go wrong with the tower, Arceus made the Time Gears and slots to put them in. He spread them far and wide across the land, and left the Lake Guardians to watch over three of them. Over time, however, as Temporal Tower started to collapse, the Time Gears were the only thing left to maintain time, and stealing one would stop time in the area. As a result, the Pokémon made great efforts to stop the Time Gears from being stolen.

...Wow, that was badly worded... But maybe I could turn it into a fanfic?

I'd say that the time gears were spare parts.
Yes, they do keep time running in a specific place. And removing them freezes the time in that location.
The Temporal tower had another 5 time gears(I think there were 5 slots, but it was a while since I last played the second mystery dungeon) placed there to keep time in general stable.
Of course the main antagonist(Not posting the name just to avoid spoilers. But someone who played it know who it was) sabotaged the tower.
You gather the spare time gears ant fix the tower.
Then the cut scene shows those locations that had time gears back to normal without time gears.
Probably the gears would grow back reappear just in case of another failure or sabotage in a week or two.
The Guardians were there so none would steal them, and in case of emergency they would be in place.
