Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future

Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.
However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.
We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible -

Every single time a manage to get a freeze off.
And wonder trade, I don't get why people get pissy when others send bad Pokemon out. You sent out a Togepi with 5 IVs and egg moves? That's cool. You got a Bunnelby in return? That's kinda sucks, but don't get upset over it. You're not entitled to good Pokemon. I mean you could deposit your Pokemon in GTS or something if you want a decent Pokemon. Most of the time, new people are trying out wonder trade, so they put in that Pidgey they caught to try it out. I mainly use it to send out stuff I got when hatching eggs. I really wanted a good Cheruubi, and when I got one that was close enough, I just wonder trade the other stuff. I get more Honedges, Charmanders, and Froakies then any other Pokemon. Quite frankly, I'm getting a bit annoyed with Honedge. Charmander and Froakie are still cool though.

I find it weird when the whiners try to justify themselves by saying that they send out MM extras and the likes. They're basically just trading off something that's trash to them and would otherwise get released anyway, what difference does it make if they end up releasing someone's Zubat instead of their 387th Bagon? You give them your trash and they give you theirs. Sounds reasonable to me. If the other person likes it, great! But I doubt you'd know anyway.

Can you imagine the complex that those 387 Bagon have? It's like a factory. Nope, not shiny, see you later. The Zubat feels much more special.

Hey i wt 6 shinny pichus i got while trying to get a 30 31 30 31 31 31Naive pikachu with volt tackle and hp ice. I hope i made some random guys happy.
I wonder traded a shiny riolu, 2 batches of regi's (I was speedrunning emerald for a while so i could get multiple regigigas...ended up trading most of them for the gen 5 legends i missed ) and some other cool stuff....i didn't care about what i got since i have nothing to do but lotto anymore, and those ID's help...only haveroom for 20 more pokemon in my boxes....still have millions of money left....so bored that i may just make everything lv100....
Speaking of boredom, something that grinds my gears: I restarted my fire red copy today, and when I was on my way to get oak's parcel I encountered a shiny pidgey....obviously that means I have no pokeballs.....damn, first shiny i've encountered in a pre-gen4 game.

On-topic, it's hard enough to memorize 700+ names in one language, but memorizing 700+ names in multiple languages...

Too many...but off the top of my head:
•People who only like to use sand attack.
•Encountering shinies and running out of Pokéballs. Happened to me with the first shiny I ever saw.
•Trolls who give awesome pokémon the stupidest names and put them on GTS. I'm never using my shiny "Chartard" in battle again for that reason.

-Hatching male eevees (That's inevitable but umm.... A FEMALE MORE FREQUENTLY?)
-People sending over Froakies, Scatterbugs and Fletchlings... at least make an effort to send a pokemon you're hatching. STOP catching lame pokemons in the wild and wonder trading them.
-Had like 5 Roselia Hordes now that Munna (Who I'm EV Training) has Pokerus, I only eno****er Psyducks and Hoppips
