In what games u encountered frame rate drops? In handheld mode or TV mode?

Visuals are important for every game, and people are just mad because some modern Pokémon games look worse than indie projects despite being part of the world's most valuable media franchise. I don't think Pokémon fans are asking for games that look like Red Dead Redemption 2 or something (and if they do, they're expecting too much from the Switch); I just think people want a game that looks visually appealing.

lmao definitely not on a system as underpowered as a Switch. On more powerful hardware...sure, they're capable of it, but why bother when you can rush out something that looks 'good enough'?

That’s a sad state of affairs tbh, and i blame capitalism for it. Sometimes communism sounds like a much better trade off (not that it is lmao).

The lack of a Pokemon HOME family plan is really starting to grind my gears. I don't mind paying for subscription services, but there needs to be a family tier that allows me to share a subscription with other people in my Nintendo Online family plan. Having to buy individual subscriptions means having to manage funds on my kids accounts.

Nintendo Online Family plans are also starting to grind my gears. Nintendo really needs to take some lessons from Apple here. Apple allows you to share a credit card and apps between family members.

The family plans also aren't good in multi-Switch households. I can't purchase more than one copy of a game on an account to share between family members. I can't assign games to specific devices, and I can't checkout a game for offline use if I'm not going to be using my primary device.

The problem is that they don't have more powerful hardware. Pokemon is a Nintendo exclusive, and until Nintendo comes out with something that's better than a 2015-era SOC with a Maxwell GPU, they're stuck with what they have.

Oh I'm well aware, we're def not getting anything close to modern-day graphics for Pokémon games anytime soon. With that being said, BotW-tier graphics would be pretty nice, especially considering how long that game's been out already...

At least the hat isn’t as ugly as the one on SM. I took that thing off the very first chance that I had gotten. The SwSh default hat was also unattractive I thought. The default hats of both protagonists have been pretty awful looking since Gen VI with only the female in USUM looking good.

EDITED Here's a rant regarding transfers.

The Togepi line was not included as a native pokemon in Kalos in X/Y Kalos Regional Dex when the Fairy type was created.
I always hate when pokemon games suffer from the "oops we're not sorry but you're just gonna have to use transfer for DS titles or go fishing in the GTS"

Other pokemon like this with similar problems would be Glaceon and Leafeon in Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Their evolutions are unavailable by ordinary means in Johto and Unova due to the lack of Mossy Rock and Icy Rock in every region after aside from Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire but icy rock is in a difficult late game Shoal Cave at certain hours. This leads to either transferring or trades to make things easier.
Ice Stone/Leaf Stone were a godsend for the Gen 7/8 games.

Believe it or not, this is also a callback to Eevee's Pokédex entry back in Gen 1, which stated that Eevee reacted to different stones. That was its main gimmick until they added new evolution methods. In fact, IIRC, Umbreon was supposed to be Poison type and evolve using a Poison Stone, but those were scraped for Dark.

In the Pokemon masters game at present there are not many initially 3 star support sync pairs. Now this wouldn't be an issue but they keep giving 3 start support move candy as a reward. I've got 9 of the 3 star move candies and no pairs left to use them for. If they could be upgraded to work for other pairs that would also be fine.

PLA Rotom is quite possibly the most unfair requirement pokemon in legends arceus. The way to get his Forms is by buying the items from Ginto.
But his items are always rare and rotom items are super expensive on top of that at 10.000 and almost 100.000's categories.

Exactly, the lower grade holes are unpredictable and when you unlock it you might often just find a pokemon that you already have.

and the other reason is that technically Gyms 5, 6 and 7 can be done in any order, so they need to be about equal in terms of power.

Please pardon such a late reply, but when I saw this, I wanted to mention that it's technically even possible to do the 7th Gym and surrounding events before even beating the 4th, because Mt. Mortar can be traversed without needing Surf. So that really skewed how they had to balance the Levels and Pokemon teams.

This. I don't understand how they couldn't have swapped out Gastly for Misdreavus, or just added Misdreavus and gave Morty 4 Pokemon.

Why isn't Leon more muscular?

He literally has weights and bars in his old bedroom, which shows he had a history of being an athletic person. He should have a much more toned and defined physique.

This is probably due to them wanting to adhere to certain physical aesthetics for Leon's design, ones they did not feel the need to adhere to for Milo or even Kabu, the latter of whom often coming across looking more muscular than Leon does. (Different mediums do play with Leon's physique, though. Like how Evolutions upsells Leon's muscle definition.)

I do wish they more consistently unapologetically let Leon be the athletic hunk bro sports champion that he 'outta be (and that he implicitly is, even if his visuals don't add up to the implications behind them).

You can't beat Mahogany Gym before getting Surf. You need to beat Team Rocket there before that gym opens up and you need Surf to start that encounter at the Red Gyarados
