Monster Houses in PMD Games. Those are my only gear-grinding experiences I have with them.

I really hate it whenever a move misses. I'm looking at you, Focus Blast. It only hits 4 out of 10 times, so its accuracy should've been 40, not 70.

Oh how I hate the GTS because of those people asking for all the legendaries. They really need to install a system to get around this! I also hate that I can't get all the pokemon in the one game. However if they fixed the GTS I would be happy with being able to see them all so I can ask for it on the GTS. It's not a very good system at the moment.

T-Bolt

Electrifying.
Even worse: monster houses while escorting a Pokemon. UGH.

Even more worse- Monster houses in the PMD games with Agility spamming Aerodactyl/Stupid double attacking Unburden Drifloon/Drifblim while doing an escort mission.

Not a nice experience. At. All.

You can just trade it to another game and then restart...

Alot of people bring this up, and to me it's a terrible argument. Here's why.

I only have one DS. I'd have to buy another DS to trade it. And then I'd have to buy another copy of the game or another version. Basically I'd have to own the same game twice, and have 2 DS systems. Keeping an Event Pokemon is expensive...

Why wouldn't I just let someone hang onto the Pokemon for a few minutes? Because I wouldn't trust anyone with something like that.

That's why Event Pokemon grind my gears.

Usually you can get used copies of a game for pretty cheap; just use the spare one as storage or get the opposite of whatever version you're playing and alternate between them whenever you want to restart.

Trainers in Gyms who don't have Pokémon who's type isn't relevant to the gym. I went through the Canalave Gym on Diamond and there was a trainer with an Azumarril. So if you send a fire type out to counter steel types you're gonna have a bad time.

The point I would make is this. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT! They should just let the player keep Event Pokemon when they start a new game.

It isn't that hard to do. It's two, MAYBE three lines of code per Event Pokemon, telling the game to keep that Pokemon at a given level whenever the player starts a new game. I could do that.

LMAO! I'd never payed attention to that.

And, what grinds my ears? Monsters houses on PMD. Even under normal circumstances (aka: my pokemon being at high-levels) it's a pain to get through it.

I hate it when my pokemon is evolving and some guy comes over and presses b. I worked so hard to make the pokemon evolve :[

People who'll purposely disconnect to avoid losses in Wifi battles. Is protecting their "precious record" really worth selling out their dignity?

The thing is that Diamond and Pearl had a crappy distribution at the time. This sorta situation occurs with Flint's DP team as well. Either that or it was programmed to counter Ground and Fire Pokémon that you thought would help you throughout the gym.

Flint and Volkner's DP teams had very few of their specified types. This does sorta grind my gears.

Wait..who is randomly coming up to you and pressing "b" on your DS?

On the topic at hand, it may have been mentioned already, but pre-gen 4ish, sand-attack or double team is a real quick way to piss me off. Its almost never used with any purpose or strategical purposes...the only two that come to mind are Koga's crobat with toxic, and Wallace's Kingdra, but's thats about it.

I get frustrated when it's taking forever finding a 5% encounter rate poke in a ripple/shaking grass/dust cloud.
Also when I lose my count during EV training and I have to load and redo it. Arrrgh dammit!

Cynthia in Champions Tournament grinds my gears. Her team is just a huge pain, especially Garchomp and Roserade.

Also most of the DRAGON trainers, DRAGON leaders and DRAGON elite four members as well as the DRAGON champion.
