Skarmory. So annoying to kill if you don't have Talonflame...
Why Talonflame and no other Pokémon?

How is it hard to kill?

Misdreavus has "pearl"-like features on it but is still able to learn it. Corsola has no gems whatsoever and is not made by one, neither are Nosepass and Probopass, but still they are able to learn it. Sooooo, yeah...
Something annoying about X and Y.
How you had to encounter the legendary birds 10 or 12 times before you could get the chance to catch them in that cave in Azure Bay.
Regular roaming legendaries before these games were annoying enough to have to chase down.
Why Talonflame and no other Pokémon?
I would argue that the roaming Pokémon in X/Y are a little less annoying to deal with because you only have to track then down ten times and then they settle down. After which they don't run again, they don't cause you to run, and even if you cause them to accidentally faint they eventually respawn at the same spot.
What really grinds my gears is that after 6 Generations that Dark types still have never had a Gym for themselves. It's not my favorite type but I don't get what's so bad about the typing getting a Gym especially since types like Steel and Fairy got their own Gyms as soon as they were introduced.

Agreed, but that brings up a related question: Why do all Gyms have to be an official part of the league? Something that the anime and (probably) the manga hits on is that there are Gyms that aren't part of any league.
