1. They said that it would be coming around the same time as diamond and pearl. they wouldnt release two pokemon adventure games in one go...

2. what better way to endorse a game (DP)than to release a companion game(Revouloution) that allows you to use pokemon from the other without as much trouble

3. many of the things promised in this game would be a lot easier without having to program town after town and such...

4. The stadium games recieved alot of support... (more than the 3d adventures after we learned about how much of it was going to be...)

5. Its the perfect way to get people used to all the new pokemon

Ah, did you not read the page on the main site? They told us it was going to be an RPG series. But the way all the posts are in this sector, it's like 50-50.

"...will include rpg elements". Obviously, it will be like a cross between stadium and collo/xd, which is good. Oh and btw, your 'reasoning' is mainly guesswork...there will probably never be another stadium because the company that made pokemon stadium 1&2 didnt make the gc games.

i dont think thats what they meant... usaully when they say it like that they mean youll be able to control a character and walk around with all the coliseams in different buildings... or even a story involving the coliseams... like a legendary is improisoned by the pokemon league and you have to get them out...

I think it will be a RPG/Staduim,that would be the best way to show of the Wii's Memory Storage and to attract staduim fans(PKMN Staduim) and RPG fans(XD/Colosseum).

RPG means Role-playing game. Role-playing game means you get to be the role of another. In the case of another, you move through a plot. A plot. PLOOOOOT.

This has a .1% chance of being a stadium game in my eyes. They're not going back. At all. They have a battle mode; is that good enough for ya?

The main page says its an update to the stadium games. STAAAAAAAADIUM.

No. That has not been proven. It's mere specualtion on the video that was released. And, my opinion's not blaringly incorrect. In fact, this entire thread is just YOUR opinion. No offense, but we can't prove anything now. They're not going back to stadium-type games. They just aren't. Plus, battling would get incredibly boring if that's all you did.

Let's make a bet. If I'm right, you put some pink crap and strange stuff in your sig. If you're right, I have to do that. This is for a month. ;)

Just kidding. Though, I guess you can take it up if you want...But, whatever. You won't listen to anyone else's opinions. I'll just laugh once this turns out to be a Colosseum-esque game.

they say nothing of speculation on the main page... It is confirmed! The RPG elements are probably the ability to raise a pokemon team while your at it. how can it be a colleseum esque game when they said on the main information page it was a stadium update? (they also didnt say it was speculation like they usaully do with a rumor) it would also make sense for it to be a battling game because of the online would easily keeping it from being boring...

Okay, then. Prove it. Give me a source that Serebii got the news from. Well? Does it say exactly what's on that page?

In the context that they say that, they mean the next 3-d Pokemon game. NOT the next Stadium.

why would they say that when the last two games couldnt have been less like stadium... its simple they wouldnt... and its much more logical for them to make a stadium game (read the first post)

Colo/XD Were stadium games because they had a Battle Now mode >> ALL poekmon games are BATTLE games except things like "Hey You Pikachu" And "Torzei" Theres a better chance of it being an RPG than a Stadium game because of just how BETTER Pokemon RPGs are than the Battle games. and an annoying announcer doesnt help. We have a VIDEO to go on that told us nothing more than this is how they want to work on the DS and Wii connectability.

"They" didn't say that. Serebii wrote it like that on his page, but since he knows no more than we do, you can't go peer at how he words things and derive information from it.

true... but the part about the rpg (on the console) being better is up for a debate.... anyway im hoping that youll control a character around like the rpgs and enter buildings to sign up for cups like the stadiums. maybe there could be various areas to explore but still...
