So I have a bit of a conundrum. I have two physical sweepers in my party (Garchomp and Metagross) and I need to drop one. I'm thinking Metagross but I don't know what would fit and replace that nice resistance set. I was thinking maybe Zong, but Zong's can't heal themselves, so that makes me hesitant.

It also needs improvement in general

Here's my team:

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf/Life Orb
Brave (Couldn't get Adamant)
EV's ATK and SPD
Dragon Rush
Dragon Claw
Stone Edge
Earthquake

Metagross @ Leftovers
Adamant
EV's ATK and HP (I know, stupid)
Brick Break/Hammer Arm?
Earthquake
Meteor Mash
Explosion

Lanturn @ Chesto Berry (So Lum isn't accidentally used up)
Modest
EV's SPATK and HP
Thunderbolt
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest

Celebi @ Dunno
Mild (I took it as I got it...)
EV'S SPATK and SPD
Energy Ball
Shadow Ball
Recover
Heal Bell

Crobat @ Dunno (Lum?)
Adamant
EV's HP and ATK
Fly
Cross Poison (Stupid Sludge bomb...)
Confuse Ray
Haze

Houndoom @ Expert Belt
Modest
EV's SPATK and SPD
Flamethrower
Dark Pulse
Nasty Plot
Roar

Eh,you don´t know what are Ev´s,yes?
Your Metagross isn´t ph.sweeper...if you want to sweep, give him Agility on the first place
I think Houndoom don´t need Expert belt....
What do you mean "stupid Sludge bomb..."? If you want to give him sludge bomb, forget it!

It's why I'm considering dropping my Metagross, because it doesn't sweep so well in 4th gen.

I meant "Stupid Sludge Bomb" because it became a Special attack in 4th Gen, so my Adamant Crobat doesn't rock as much anymore and has to resort to Cross Poison now.

I know what effort values are. I just list them this way because all of the points are dumped into only two stats.

Edited And the listed stats for EV's have the maximum number in each.

Okay.

What about a replacement pokemon for Metagross?

No,sorry.And Lanturn isn´t the good choice,too.It can be Tentacruel,because you don´t have walls. Tenta>Lanturn

GlassLemon

Sheer Epicness.
Garchomp @ Choice Scarf/Life Orb
Brave (Couldn't get Adamant)Can't get adamant, try again, get Naive/Naughty
EV's ATK and SPD
Fire Blast
Dragon Claw
Stone Edge
Earthquake
Fire blast for Skarm, Zong, Forry etc.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Adamant
EV's ATK and HP (I know, stupid)Metagross doesn't have the speed to sweep, so it isn't.
Ice Punch
Earthquake
Meteor Mash
Explosion/Bullet Punch
Meh, pretty standard IMO

Lanturn @ Chesto Berry (So Lum isn't accidentally used up)
Modest
EV's SPATK and HP
Thunderbolt
Surf
Ice Beam
Rest
Fine-ish, you may wanna go T-Wave over Rest for some cripplin'

Celebi @ lefties
Mild (I took it as I got it...)
EV'S SPATK and SPD
Energy Ball
Shadow Ball
Recover
Heal Bell
Not good with Celebi =o

Crobat @ lefties? I don't know!
Jolly
EV's Speed and ATK
Aerial Ace
Cross Poison (Stupid Sludge bomb...)
Hypnosis
U-Turn

Fly is terrible, hypnosis for status, and U-Turn is over haze because Crobat is too fragile.

Houndoom @ Expert Belt
Modest/Timid
EV's SPATK and SPD
Flamethrower
Dark Pulse
Nasty Plot
Roar

I don't like giving summaries >_>

Eh, I must admit I'm a little defensive of my Crobat.

I still prefer Confuse Ray over Hypnosis because Confuse Ray is not only 100% accurate, but it can be scarier than sleep in certain situations. Hit a slow pokemon with Confuse Ray and your real-life opponent starts to lose their calm if they risk hurting themselves severely. It's the best status ailment, in my opinion, and often forces a switch just as often as sleep.

Also, should I swap Gross for Zong or something else?

No offense, but your movesets are horrible :p

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Sand Veil
EV's: 252Atk, 236Spe, 20Hp/Sp.Atk
~ Outrage
~ Earthquake
~ Fire Blast
~ Crunch

You don't need Dragon Rush on there. This makes a decent revenge killer, maybe a good lead? You could stick Stone Edge on there somewhere. EV's allow you to beat max speed neutral base 100's on +1. Fire Blast for Skarm/Forre.

Metagross @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Clear Body
EV's: 252Atk, 240Hp, 12Spe
~ Pursuit
~ Earthquake
~ Meteor Mash
~ Explosion

Pursuit is always helpful, CB Explosion kills anything that doesn't resist it, EQ for coverage, MM for STAB. Gives you a really, really hard hitter.

Lanturn @ Leftovers
Nature: Calm
Ability: Volt Absorb
EV's: Use Smogon's lol.
~ Discharge
~ Surf
~ Sleep Talk
~ Rest

Takes status for the team, dishes it out with 30% para rate of Discharge.

Don't use a Mild Celebi, it's really not workable. Stick a good wallbreaker in it's slot, maybe a Mixmence?

Salamence @ Life Orb
Nature: Mild
Ability: Intimidate
EV's: 252Sp.Atk, 136Spe, 120Atk
~ Draco Meteor
~ Crunch
~ Brick Break
~ Fire Blast

2HKO's Cress, Bliss, and OHKO's quite a lot with Draco Meteor.

Lead with Crobat, and run this set;

Crobat @ Leftovers
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Inner Focus
EV's: 216Spd, ~160Atk, rest in Hp
~ Aerial Ace
~ Hypnosis
~ Taunt
~ U-Turn

Massively fast sleeper, U-turns out so you end up with a favourable match-up, taunts those who might try and set up on you.

Houndoom wants a Sub-salac set, it's too slow to NP sweep effectively without it.

Houndoom @ Salac Berry
Nature: Modest
Ability: Flash Fire
EV's: 252Sp.Atk, 216Spe, 40Hp
~ Fire Blast
~ Substitute
~ Dark Pulse
~ Nasty Plot

Make sure your HP is divisible by 4, so that the salac activates after 3 subs. Come in on a Fire attack, Sub on the switch and Nasty Plot, then keep subbing until Salac activates.

You're relying on Lanturn (And previously Celebi) for an awful lot of defensive walling. If you're planning on ditching Metagross (Which was your closest thing to a physical wall, but w/e...) stick something like a Cresselia or a Bronzong in over it to cover up a few of the holes, such as Specsmence, Garchomp, etc.

I still prefer the reliability of Flamethrower's accuracy over Fire Blast, but otherwise I'll take your advice. (I'm keeping Confuse Ray and Dragon Claw, though)

I've participated in a (LVL 100) match that was an 18 hp difference between winning and losing and it tilted my way because someone used a non 100% accurate move(Sky Uppercut). I religiously stick to accurate moves as a result, which is one reason I think Confuse Ray > Hypnosis.

A Chomp and Mence in the same team seems a tad excessive to me(Not to mention Weavile-Bait.)

I'll try out a Zong, though. Got a good setup for one?

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Levitate
EV's: 252Hp, 160Def, 98Sp.Def
~ Gyro Ball
~ Earthquake
~ Stealth Rock
~ Hypnosis

If you don't want Chomp and Mence, run a Chain-Chomp, so you don't die to walls, and stick something with Wish in the last slot to keep Bronzong happy as at the moment it's being relied on for a lot and needs the longevity.
